SUPERT: Towards New Frontiers in Unsupervised Evaluation Metrics for Multi-Document Summarization
We study unsupervised multi-document summarization evaluation metrics, which require neither human-written reference summaries nor human annotations (e.g. preferences, ratings, etc.).

Multi-document Biography Summarization
In this paper we describe a biography summarization system using sentence classification and ideas from information retrieval. Although the individual techniques are not new, assembling and applying them to generate multi-document biographies is new. Our system was evaluated in DUC2004.

ABSTRACT Background While Wilms tumor (WT) typically has a favorable prognosis, relapsed cases—especially those with high‐risk histology—remain therapeutically challenging after intensive frontline therapy. The combination of vincristine and irinotecan has demonstrated activity in pediatric solid tumors, and pazopanib, a multi‐targeted tyrosine kinase ...

Parent‐to‐Child Information Disclosure in Pediatric Oncology
ABSTRACT Background Despite professional consensus regarding the importance of open communication with pediatric cancer patients about their disease, actual practice patterns of disclosure are understudied. Extant literature suggests a significant proportion of children are not told about their diagnosis/prognosis, which is purported to negatively ...

Label Clustering for a Novel Problem Transformation in Multi-label Classification [PDF]
Document classification is a large body of search, many approaches were proposed for single label and multi-label classification. We focus on the multi-label classification more precisely those methods that transformation multi-label classification into ...

Adapting the Neural Encoder-Decoder Framework from Single to Multi-Document Summarization
Generating a text abstract from a set of documents remains a challenging task. The neural encoder-decoder framework has recently been exploited to summarize single documents, but its success can in part be attributed to the availability of large parallel

Subtopic-driven Multi-Document Summarization [PDF]
In multi-document summarization, a set of documents to be summarized is assumed to be on the same topic, known as the underlying topic in this paper. That is, the underlying topic can be collectively represented by all the documents in the set. Meanwhile, different documents may cover various different subtopics and the same subtopic can be across ...

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...
