Color Symmetry Breaking in a Nonlinear Optical Microresonator
A two‐color pump drives an integrated microring resonator into spontaneous color symmetry breaking mediated by the nonlinear Kerr effect. Above threshold, one optical color becomes spontaneously dominant while the other is submissive, with the selected output state emerging randomly. Bounded Frequency Lattices in Coupled Lithium Niobate Ring Cavities
We leverage coupled asymmetric ring resonators in realizing bounded tight‐binding frequency lattices and demonstrate their discrete band structures on an integrated device. Suppression of long‐range coupling with a single auxiliary cavity is demonstrated by combining mode splitting and coupled waveguide dispersion effects.
