Multi-Exposure Image Fusion by Optimizing A Structural Similarity Index
IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, 2018We propose a multi-exposure image fusion (MEF) algorithm by optimizing a novel objective quality measure, namely the color MEF structural similarity (MEF-SSIM $_c$ ) index. The design philosophy we introduce here is substantially different from existing ones.

Ghosting-free multi-exposure image fusion in gradient domain
2016 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2016This paper presents an algorithm to produce ghosting-free High Dynamic Range (HDR) image by fusing set of multiple exposed images in gradient domain. Recently proposed Gradient domain based exposure fusion method provides high quality result but the scope of which is limited to static camera without foreground object motion.

Multi-Exposure and Multi-Focus Image Fusion in Gradient Domain
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2016A multi-exposure and multi-focus image fusion algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is developed for color images and is based on blending the gradients of the luminance components of the input images using the maximum gradient magnitude at each pixel location and then obtaining the fused luminance using a Haar wavelet-based image reconstruction ...

A multi-exposure image fusion algorithm without ghost effect
2011 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2011This paper proposes a new multi-exposure fusion algorithm for HDR imaging. The advantage of the fusion based method is that it does not actually generate HDR images so that the compression to LDR is also not needed. However, the conventional exposure fusion suffers from ghost effects when there are moving object or hand trembling because the output is ...

A Variational Multi-Scale Model for Multi-Exposure Image Fusion
IEEE Transactions on Image ProcessingMulti-exposure image fusion (MEF) is the main method to obtain High Dynamic Range (HDR) images by fusing multiple images taken under various exposure values. In this paper, we propose and develop a novel variational model based on detail-base decomposition for MEF.

Fusion of Multi-view Multi-exposure Images with Delaunay Triangulation
2016In this paper, we present a completely automatic method for multi-view multi-exposure image fusion. The technique adopts the normalized cross-correlation NCC as the measurement of the similarity of interest points. With the matched feature points, we divide images into a set of triangles by Delaunay triangulation. Then we apply affine transformation to
