Local Metrics for Multi-Object Tracking

open access: yesCoRR, 2021
This paper introduces temporally local metrics for Multi-Object Tracking. These metrics are obtained by restricting existing metrics based on track matching to a finite temporal horizon, and provide new insight into the ability of trackers to maintain identity over time.

Multi-Object Tracking with Siamese Track-RCNN

open access: yesCoRR, 2020
Multi-object tracking systems often consist of a combination of a detector, a short term linker, a re-identification feature extractor and a solver that takes the output from these separate components and makes a final prediction. Differently, this work aims to unify all these in a single tracking system.

Multi‐template temporal information fusion for Siamese object tracking

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, 2023
The object tracking algorithm based on Siamese network often extracts the deep feature of the target to be tracked from the first frame of the video sequence as a template, and uses the template for the whole tracking process.

Research on Pedestrian Multi-Object Tracking Network Based on Multi-Order Semantic Fusion

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal, 2023
Aiming at the problem of insufficient tracking accuracy caused by object occlusion in the process of multi-object tracking, this paper proposes a multi-order semantic fusion pedestrian multi-object tracking network. Firstly, the feature pyramid attention

On the detection-to-track association for online multi-object tracking [PDF]

open access: yesPattern Recognition Letters, 2021
Driven by recent advances in object detection with deep neural networks, the tracking-by-detection paradigm has gained increasing prevalence in the research community of multi-object tracking (MOT). It has long been known that appearance information plays an essential role in the detection-to-track association, which lies at the core of the tracking-by-

TrackFormer: Multi-Object Tracking with Transformers

open access: yes2022 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2022
The challenging task of multi-object tracking (MOT) requires simultaneous reasoning about track initialization, identity, and spatio-temporal trajectories. We formulate this task as a frame-to-frame set prediction problem and introduce TrackFormer, an end-to-end trainable MOT approach based on an encoder-decoder Transformer architecture.

Harnessing feedback region proposals for multi‐object tracking

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, 2020
In the tracking‐by‐detection approach of online multiple object tracking (MOT), a major challenge is how to associate object detections on the new video frame with previously tracked objects.

Interactive multi-object tracking for virtual object manipulation [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2013
We present an interactive system to manipulate a virtual object by tracking multiple hands in 3D space using a Kinect device. The system segments hand shapes from a captured 3D scene by using depth information and active contours.
