Comprehensive Assessment of Arterial, Tissue, and Venous Collaterals for Evaluating the Infarct Growth Rate: The Multimodal Collateral Score

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Collaterals are crucial factors that influence the infarct growth rate (IGR). We aimed to determine whether a comprehensive multimodal collateral score (MCS), incorporating collateral assessment at the arterial, tissue, and venous levels, is associated with functional independence and provides incremental prognostic value over ...

Multi-parameter Maximal Fourier Restriction

open access: yesJournal of Fourier Analysis and Applications
The main result of this note is the strengthening of a quite arbitrary a priori Fourier restriction estimate to a multi-parameter maximal estimate of the same type. This allows us to discuss a certain multi-parameter Lebesgue point property of Fourier transforms, which replaces Euclidean balls by ellipsoids.

Long‐Term Efficacy of Immunotherapy in Autoimmune Autonomic Ganglionopathy—A 10‐Year Follow Up Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy (AAG) is a rare but potentially treatable cause of severe autonomic failure. Evidence guiding long‐term immunotherapy, treatment sequencing, and residual autonomic impairment is limited. We evaluated long‐term treatment response, residual autonomic dysfunction, and relapse patterns in patients with

Parameter identification and hybrid mathematical modelling techniques applied to non-linear control systems [PDF]

open access: yes
The study is concerned with the mathematical modelling and parameter identification of nonlinear motion control systems. The control systems under review are the axis motion control systems for a 3-axis CNC machine tool.

Multi-Parameter One-Sided Monitoring Tests

open access: yesTechnometrics, 2018
Multi-parameter one-sided hypothesis test problems arise naturally in many applications. We are particularly interested in effective tests for monitoring multiple quality indices in forestry products. Our search reveals that there are many effective statistical methods in the literature for normal data, and that they can easily be adapted for non ...

MOGAD Is the Most Common Cause of Isolated Optic Neuritis in Children

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives The study aimed to characterize the clinical features, etiologies, and outcomes of isolated, first‐time pediatric ON in the post‐MOG‐IgG era. Methods This was a single‐center retrospective cohort study at Texas Children's Hospital of patients diagnosed with first‐time ON between 2018–2024, with follow‐up data collected through 2025.

Multi-parameter optimisation of train control

open access: yes, 2013
Optimal train control in respect to minimising energy usage is well understood and can be determined for a given train, route and time. However with the control of long freight and heavy haul trains there is also a need to consider longitudinal train ...

Screening Routine Clinical Notes for Epilepsy Surgery Candidates Using Large Language Models

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Epilepsy surgery is severely underutilized despite proven efficacy, with substantial under‐referral of eligible patients in routine clinical practice. This study evaluated the potential role of large language models (LLMs) as decision‐support tools for screening unstructured clinical notes to identify epilepsy surgery candidates and ...

Multi-parameter regression survival models

open access: yes, 2013
The proportional hazards (PH) assumption in survival analysis may not always be appropriate. If data do not obey the assumption then we will reach incorrect conclusions by making it.
