Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Coupling requirements for multi-physics problems

open access: yes, 2016
We consider two hyperbolic systems onfirst order form of different size posed on two domains. Our ambition is to derive general conditions for when the two systems can and cannot be coupled. The adjoint equations are derived and well-posedness of the primal and dual problems are discussed.

Modelling of Metal Forming Processes and Multi-Physic Coupling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The main physical phenomena which can be coupled with the mechanical computation of metal forming processes are analyzed. Recalling the classical thermal coupling, it is shown that a stronger numerical coupling is necessary when localization of the deformation occurs.

Robust Electrocaloric Performance Enabled by Highly‐Polar Frustrated Nanodomains in NaNbO3‐Based Ferrodistortive Relaxor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
P4bm framework in NaNbO3‐Ba(Ti, Hf)O3 ferrodistortive relaxor entails short‐range and highly‐polar ferrodistortive orders. The abundant highly‐polar orders facilitate to increase entropy change, and robust octahedral oxygen tilt enables to impede thermal perturbations.

Application of Partitioned Iterative Coupling Approach to Multi-physics

open access: yesJournal of Civil Engineering and Construction, 2019
The engineering needs which have to consider the multi-physics are increasing. When the multi-phase problem is treated by monolithic coupling approach, there are some difficulties such as the increase in the number of degree of freedom, the complication of the program code and so on.

Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...
