On the Design of Distributed Multi-User Secret Image Sharing for General Access Structures [PDF]

open access: yes
In this article, a secret image sharing (SIS) scheme for general access structures (GAS) is designed for distributed multi-user scenario. In the proposed distributed multi-user SIS (DM-SIS), multiple secret images are encoded into shadows which are then ...

Increasing urban flash flood risk attributable to both climate and development

open access: yesQuarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.
A new event impact attribution methodology that combines convection‐permitting climate model data with flood inundation modelling was used for a five‐hour flash‐flooding event in the suburbs of Leeds in 2014. The results show increased urban flood extent due to both climate change (+16%) and increased urbanisation (+29%).

From Flybys to Sample Return: A Review of Space Probes and Robotic Sampling Technologies for Small Bodies

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As a crucial puzzle piece of deep space exploration, exploring small bodies can provide significant scientific insights and valuable mineral resources. Unlike missions to the Moon and Mars, small‐body missions pose distinct technical challenges, including communication delays, weak gravity, and uncertain environments. This paper reviews a full

Fragmentation Across Scales, Geography, and Climate Challenges in European Urban Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Research: A Bibliometric and Systematic Review

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT European urban climate change research lacks integration across scales, geography, and climate challenges, despite Europe's coordinated policy frameworks. Through a hybrid bibliometric and systematic review of 1528 studies (2010–2025) using Cortext Manager and PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this study maps the conceptual patterns, knowledge gaps, and

( n , n ) Multi-Secret Image Sharing Scheme with Enhanced Quality Meaningful Shares

open access: yesJournal of Information Assurance and Security
Abstract Traditional visual secret sharing (VSS) schemes that encrypt secret images into noise-like images have been extended to multiple secret sharing (MSS) schemes to share multiple secret images using meaningful shares. Due to poor visual quality, such schemes are vulnerable to attacks from intruders.

How Aligned Are Citizen Preferences With the 15‐Minute Cities Paradigm? An International Survey and K‐Means Clustering Study

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how citizens' mobility preferences align with the principles of the 15‐Minute City (15mC), addressing three research questions: what access times and transport modes citizens consider acceptable, whether mobility preference can be clustered, and which services are perceived incompatible with the 15mC.

A Study of Secret Image Sharing Schemes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
