Multi-sensor instrument validation

open access: yes
The validation includes a comparison of the obtained multiple magnetic properties of the mapped crustal rocks from different sites with all available mineralogical and geological data from these sites. This should document the potential of our new geophysical tool to determine rock compositions.

Light‐Controlled Reversible Coassembly of Hybrid Functional Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive hybrid nanostructures are formed by coassembling azobenzene‐ and PAH‐functionalized nanoparticles through reversible an tunable π interactions. The system enables tunable coupling between distinct components such as gold and magnetite or carbon nanotubes, producing switchable optical and magnetic properties under light and magnetic ...

MUSES: MUlti SEnsors Sphere

SPIE Proceedings, 2007
In this contribution we describe the realization of MUSES, a novel research equipment able to detect and identify photons emitted, after laser irradiation, from biological samples (like micro-organisms and human cells) for fast ultraweak luminescence analysis.

Multi-Sensor Architectures

2011
The use of multiple sensors typically requires the fusion of data from different type of sensors. The combined use of such a data has the potential to give an efficient, high quality and reliable estimation. Input data from different sensors allows the introduction of target attributes (target type, size) into the association logic.
