The Aging Blood: Cellular Origins, Circulating Drivers, and Therapeutic Potential

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
As a conduit linking all organs, the blood system both reflects and actively drives systemic aging. This review highlights how circulating pro‐aging and antiaging factors and age‐associated hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction contribute to immunosenescence and multi‐organ decline, positioning the hematopoietic system as a target for aging intervention.

An optimized spatial target trajectory prediction model for multi-sensor data fusion in air traffic management

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal
With the evolution of air traffic safety management, the traditional single-sensor approach no longer meets the demands for spatial target surveillance. Consequently, there is increasing research interest in multi-sensor data fusion.

Fire Alarm System Based on Multi-Sensor Bayes Network

open access: yesProcedia Engineering, 2012
AbstractAimed at the problem of false alarm and missing alarm caused by information uncertainty existing in the fire alarm system, Bayesian network (BN) is proposed to analyze fire alarm system. The paper elaborates the internal logic relationship between the fire alarm and the physical-chemical characteristics generated in the process of fire burning ...

Natural Products as Geroprotective Modulators in Diabetic Nephropathy: A Mechanistic Framework Integrating Aging Hallmarks and the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 Axis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

Visual Recovery Reflects Cortical MeCP2 Sensitivity in Rett Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Rett syndrome (RTT) is a devastating neurodevelopmental disorder with developmental regression affecting motor, sensory, and cognitive functions. Sensory disruptions contribute to the complex behavioral and cognitive difficulties and represent an important target for therapeutic interventions.

Deep Learning–Assisted Differentiation of Four Peripheral Neuropathies Using Corneal Confocal Microscopy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Peripheral neuropathies contribute to patient disability but may be diagnosed late or missed altogether due to late referral, limitation of current diagnostic methods and lack of specialized testing facilities. To address this clinical gap, we developed NeuropathAI, an interpretable deep learning–based multiclass classification ...
