Rapid and Direct Detection of Methamphetamine in Biofluids using a MXene‐Enabled Electrochemical Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A MXene‐enhanced electrochemical sensor enables the rapid and direct detection of methamphetamine. Molecular simulations reveal that specific MXene surface functional groups act as key signal amplifiers by facilitating interfacial interactions. The sensor demonstrates high sensitivity and robust performance in complex biological matrices.

Effects of preparation methods for multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) suspensions on MWCNT induced rat pulmonary toxicity

open access: yesThe Journal of Toxicological Sciences, 2010
Since there is a possibility of inhaling the fibers of multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) without any agglomeration, it is important that the pulmonary toxicity is evaluated by intratracheal instillation without agglomeration. MWCNT suspended in an artificial lung surfactant (ALS) with or without grinding in an agate mortar was instilled once ...

Stabilizing Atomically Dispersed Au With Adjacent Pt for Spatially Precise Molecule Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A strategy to stabilize atomically dispersed Au catalysts by introducing Pt atoms into CeO2 supports is presented. Pt incorporation prevents Au aggregation, enhances Au‐O orbital coupling, and enables precise recognition of multi‐functionalized molecules, improving catalytic performance and the structural stability of Au‐based catalysts in ...

Artificial Piezoelectric Interface Enables Ultrafast Interfacial Ion Kinetic for Highly‐Sensitive Piezoionic Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a piezoelectric interface modification strategy to amplify the piezoionic effect. The piezoelectric interface generates an intrinsic electric field, which not only drives rapid ion migration but also concentrates polarized ions on the interface. The flexible sensor delivers superior performance, such as a quick response rate, strong
