Stretchable Water‐Repellent PEDOT:PSS‐Impregnated Polyurethane Nanofiber Mats for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) is impregnated onto an ultrastrong electrospun polyurethane (PU) nanofiber mat, resulting in the fabrication of an electrically conductive, robust, and stretchable EMI shield. This robust textile, stretchable up to 207% with 86% elastic recovery, shows a normalized EMI shielding effectiveness ...

Additive and Laser Manufacturing for Multifunctional Electronics on High‐Performance Polymers

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
Highly conductive laser‐induced graphene (LIG) is scribed by a low‐power blue laser on additively manufactured (AM) polyetherimide and polyether ether ketone. Functional and sensing LIG electronics are investigated through Joule heaters and strain gauges, which operate reliably under high thermal and mechanical stresses.
