Multiaxial classification in psychiatry

open access: yesComprehensive Psychiatry, 1983
Abstract It looks like carrying coals to Newcastle to speak as a European on multiaxial classification of mental disorders here in the United States because you have just adopted DSM-III, the only official psychiatric classification that has advanced in the direction of multiaxial classification.

An energy based criterion for high cycle multiaxial fatigue [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
In spite of the great number of high cycle multiaxial fatigue in the literature, none predicts the difference that exist between the endurance limits in tension, four point rotative bending and four point plane bending. An enerdy based criterion based on

High cycle fatigue damage mechanisms in cast aluminium subject to complex loads [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Lien vers la version éditeur: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0142112312002356This article is dedicated to the high cycle fatigue behaviour of cast hypo-eutectic Al–Si alloys. In particular, the AlSi7Cu05Mg03 alloy is investigated.

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.

Multiaxial fatigue behaviour of sintered steel under combined in- and out-of-phase bending and torsion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
S.335-353 : Abb.,Tab.,Lit.This paper discusses the fatigue behaviour of sintered steels under multiaxial loading. These steels are the Fe-1.5% Cu and the Fe-2.0% Cu-2.5% Ni, sintered at low and high temperatures, in the densities 7.1 and 7.4 g/ccm, which

Soft Mechanical‐Electrical Logic Using Liquid Metal‐Filled 3D‐Printed Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We present 3D‐printed soft mechanical–electrical logic elements that use liquid metal–filled silicone tubes actuated by thermoplastic polyurethane/polylactic acid (TPU/PLA) architectures to produce Boolean operations. Complementary normally open and normally closed unit cells perform repeatable binary transitions and can be combined into more complex ...

Two Fatigue Life Prediction Models Based on the Critical Plane Theory and Artificial Neural Networks

open access: yesMetals
Since a multiaxial loading environment may lead to the fatigue failure of structures, establishing a reliable fatigue model to predict the multiaxial fatigue lives of structures has always been a concern of engineers. This study proposes a new multiaxial

A fast algorithm to racetrack filter multiaxial histories preserving load shape [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2019
A fast algorithm is presented to implement a multiaxial version of the racetrack amplitude filter, improved upon the authors’ previous works. The algorithm only requires a single user-defined scalar filter amplitude to eliminate noise and potentially non-
