Multiaxial fatigue behavior of aluminum alloy thin-walled notched specimens based on DIC
Focusing on the influence of notch on the multiaxial fatigue performance of material, the proportional multiaxial fatigue test was carried out on 7075-T651 aluminum alloy thin-walled notched specimens with variable equivalent stress amplitude.

Multiaxial approach for local elastic stress analysis
AbstractThe paper describes application of the theory of the critical distance on multiaxially loaded notched components, including both high mean loads and non-proportional loading. The notches range from very sharp ones with notch radius 0.11 mm to a very mild case of the shoulder-fillet.

Liquid Crystalline Elastomers in Soft Robotics: Assessing Promise and Limitations
Liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs) are programmable soft materials that undergo large, anisotropic deformation in response to external stimuli. Their molecular alignment encodes directional actuation in a monolithic structure, making them long‐standing candidates for soft robotic systems.

Fatigue analysis of catenary contact wires for high speed trains [PDF]
The fatigue fracture is one of the most critical failures which may occur on the high speed network because it is undetectable and it has a huge impact on traffic disruption.

ABSTRACT Strain is a proven technique for modifying the bandgap and enhancing carrier mobility in 2D materials. Most current strain engineering techniques rely on the post‐growth transfer of these atomically thin materials from growth substrates to target surfaces, limiting their integration into nanoelectronics.
