THE PSEUDOGAP IN MULTIBAND SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2012
The pseudogap (PG) excitation is analyzed as a natural event in multiband superconductivity. It corresponds to minimal quasiparticle excitation energy of an electron band not touched by the chemical potential. The critical points of the phase diagram are determined by vanishing conditions for normal state pseudogaps (NPG).

Multiband UWB transceivers

Proceedings of the IEEE 2005 Custom Integrated Circuits Conference, 2005., 2006
This paper presents the design of UWB transceivers from both system-level and circuit-level perspectives. Following a detailed analysis of the impact of RF imperfections on the performance of the system, we review a number of transceiver and synthesizer architectures that can satisfy the MBOA UWB standard requirements.

Multiband Optical Switch Technology

Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) 2022, 2022
We developed a multiband switch element using a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with π shift utilizing wide and narrow waveguides for large fabrication tolerance. The fabricated 8 × 8 matrix switch using the element exhibited switch extinction ratios of more than 47 dB in wavelength from 1260 to 1675 nm.

The multiband antenna

2011 VIII International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques, 2011
We developed a version of the multiband antenna. The frequency dependence of input impedance and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) are determined. The eighteen versions of antennas with different widths of the exciting slots and different values of similarity are investigated. Antenna is studied experimentally with the given specifications.

MULTIBAND SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2002
Multi-band superconductivity is investigated by using two-particle Green's function techniques, and equations for coupled states are derived in the framework of a two-band model. These results suggest that superconductivity appears, even if electron–electron interaction is positive.

Multiband detection of energy fluctuations

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1995
The filtering properties of the ear permit the auditory periphery output to be viewed as a bank of parallel quasi-independent channels. The purpose of this study was to examine how information contained among the independent channels is combined. Four related experiments were undertaken in which the detection of an energy change within a channel was ...

Multiband Vector Lattice Solitons

Physical Review Letters, 2003
We predict multiband vector solitons in nonlinear periodic systems, using photonic lattices as a prime example. The solitons consist of two optical fields arising from different bands of the transmission spectrum, which involve both bound state and radiation mode components.

Multiband cellular RF solutions

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2004
This paper presents the integration trends and technology options for a multiband cellular RF solution. On the product level, forward integration evolves from the PA function via a transmit front-end to a fully integrated radio. On the component level, the main challenge is in the passives and the dedicated technologies developed for this.

MULTIBAND MODEL OF CUPRATE SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2008
A minimal model for the description of cuprate superconductor characteristics on doping scale (hole and electron) is developed. The leading interband pairing channel couples an itinerant band and defect states created by doping. Bare gaps between them are supposed and become closed by extended doping. Band overlap conditions determine special points in

Multiband cyclic wavelet transforms

Proceedings of 3rd IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2002
Multiresolution analysis via decomposition into wavelets has been established as an important transform technique in signal processing. A wealth of results is available on this subject, the framework has been extended to treat finite length sequences of size 2/sup n/ (for positive integers n) over finite fields.
