Tabu Search for Low-Cost Dynamic Multicast Tree Generation with Quality of Service Guarantees
In a communication network with a source node, a multicast tree is defined as a tree rooted at the source node and all its leaves being recipients of the multicast originating at the source.

Two Multicasting Schemes for Irregular 3D Mesh-based Bufferless NoCs
In this paper, the authors proposed two multicast routing algorithms for irregular 3D mesh-based Bufferless Interconnection Network. The DRM-1 scheme sends multicast through a non-deterministic path.

Adaptive On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
The On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol (ODMRP) is a multicast routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). Its efficiency, simplicity, and robustness against mobility render it one of the most widely used MANET multicast protocols.

Multicast routing for multimedia communication [PDF]
The authors present heuristics for multicast tree construction for communication that depends on: bounded end-to-end delay along the paths from source to each destination and minimum cost of the multicast tree, where edge cost and edge delay can be independent metrics. The problem of computing such a constrained multicast tree is NP-complete.

Ernie: Scalable Load-Balanced Multicast Source Routing for Cloud Data Centers
Nowadays, most applications hosted on public cloud data centers (DCs) disseminate data from a single source to a group of receivers for service deployment, data replication, software upgrade, etc.

IDLB: An SDN‐Based Load‐Balancing Routing Protocol for Autonomous Satellite Constellation Networks
ABSTRACT Routing in satellite constellation networks with intersatellite links has become an important aspect to enable broadband Internet access and to integrate into terrestrial networks. However, their dynamic characteristics and large physical size require specifically tailored solutions.

HPIM‐DM: A fast and reliable dense‐mode multicast routing protocol
The Hard‐state Protocol Independent Multicast—Dense Mode (HPIM‐DM) multicast routing protocol is proposed. HPIM‐DM is a hard‐state version of PIM‐DM that overcomes its poor convergence times and lack of resilience to replay attacks.

Alternate Path Routing for Multicast
Current network-layer multicast routing protocols build multicast trees based only on hop count and policy. If a tree cannot meet application requirements, the receivers have no alternative. In this paper, we propose a general and modular architecture that integrates alternate path routing with the network's multicast services.

Quantum Key Distribution Networks Design: Overview and Challenges
This paper explores the potential of using established QKD network design techniques in the context of quantum key distribution, which is based on the principles of quantum mechanics. ABSTRACT Quantum cryptography has increasingly attracted interest from both industry and academia for its potential in real‐world applications.

Joint 2‐D LFM Modulation and Mismatched Filter Design in Dual‐Function Radar‐Communication System
This paper proposes a joint 2‐D LFM modulation and mismatched filtering design for military‐grade dual‐function radar‐communication systems. The novel scheme modulates data onto both the initial frequency and chirp rate of LFM pulses, boosting data rates whilst preserving the constant‐envelope property critical for high‐power transmission.
