Chemically‐Linked Heterostructures of Palladium Nanosheets and 2H‐MoS2
The photoresponse of MoS2 devices is extended to the near‐infrared region (up to 1700 nm) through chemical connection to Pd nanosheets (PdNS). A maleimide is used for covalent connection to MoS2, and a phenyl bromide moiety for linkage to the PdNS. In the absence of the chemical linker, van der Waals heterostructures show poorer enhancement of the ...

Phase Hologram by Acoustic Metasurfaces
This work has achieved a breakthrough in holographic communication, realizing phase holographic imaging. The proposed phase holographic concept overcomes the limitations of traditional amplitude holographic energy attenuation. The design of its amplitude compensation method further addresses the key challenge of phase holographic imaging clarity ...

Abstract For sodium (Na)‐ion batteries (SIBs), the next generation of sustainable batteries, hard carbon (HC) composite electrodes are the most used anodes. Here, we demonstrate the potential of modulated electrochemical force microscopy (mec‐AFM) to investigate electrochemical strain due to ion insertion at the electrolyte/electrode interface.

ABSTRACT The mouse sleep is mostly recorded with only epidural electrodes and divided simply into NREM and REM stages. With the help of distributed intracerebral triplet electrodes, we searched for possible new electrophysiological signatures to characterise more specific sleep substages within the timeframe of seconds to tens of minutes.

Abstract figure legend In this study, we use human‐induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived cardiomyocyte (hiPSC‐CM) experiments and computational modelling to identify the mechanism of action of drug compounds. In the hiPSC‐CM experiments, optical measurements of cell collections are recorded in the baseline case and after drug exposure.
