Estimation of amplitude and phase parameters of multicomponent signals
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1995This paper considers the problem of estimating signals consisting of one or more components of the form a(t)e/sup j/spl phi/(t/), where the amplitude and phase functions are represented by a linear parametric model. The Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) on the accuracy of estimating the phase and amplitude parameters is derived.

Sequential extraction of components of multicomponent PPS signals
1999 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing. Proceedings. ICASSP99 (Cat. No.99CH36258), 1999A procedure for parameter estimation of multicomponent polynomial phase signals is presented. This scheme, while restricted to high SNRs, has the advantage of being extremely simple. It is also insensitive to the equal-coefficient identifiability problem of the HAF (high-order ambiguity function) based methods.

A generalized demodulation approach to time-frequency projections for multicomponent signals
In this paper, we introduce a flexible approach for the time-frequency analysis of multicomponent signals involving the use of analytic vectors and demodulation.

Pitch Perceptibility for Multicomponent Signals
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1972In order to get insight into some aspects of periodicity pitch of complex tones, we determined the masked threshold for perception of periodicity pitch. This threshold was defined as the relative power level of white noise needed to mask a 6%-pitch change in a two-interval forced-choice test; it was assumed, on the base of earlier experiments [F.

Analyzing of multicomponent undersampled signals by HAF
Journal of Electronics (China), 2001The phenomenon of frequency ambiguity may appear in radar or communication systems. S. Barbarossa(1991) had unwrapped the frequency ambiguity of single component undersampled signals by Wigner-Ville distribution(WVD). But there has no any effective algorithm to analyze multicomponent undersampled signals by now.

Time-Frequency Methods for Multicomponents Signals
2007 International Symposium on Signals, Circuits and Systems, 2007Instantaneous frequency (IF) is a very important parameter in a large number of applications. Generally, the IF is a non-linear function of time. For such cases the analysis of time-frequency content provides an efficient solution. This paper is a comparative study of the performances in IF estimation of the two time-frequency based methods ...

On the time-frequency reassignment of interfering modes in multicomponent FM signals
European Signal Processing Conference, 2018The paper presents a first attempt to correct the time-frequency reassignment of a multicomponent signal having non separable individual components. In particular, the case of a 2-components signal has been investigated in depth.
