Multicriteria Optimization Method of LNG Distribution [PDF]

open access: yesTransNav, 2020
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is considered as a realistic substation of marine fuel in 21 century. Solution of building new engines or converting diesels into gas fueled propulsion meets the stringent international emission regulations.

Strategies for multiobjective genetic algorithm development: Application to optimal batch plant design in process systems engineering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This work deals with multiobjective optimization problems using Genetic Algorithms (GA). A MultiObjective GA (MOGA) is proposed to solve multiobjective problems combining both continuous and discrete variables.

Incorporating industrial constraints for multiobjective optimization of composite laminates using a GA [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal for Simulation and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization, 2008
In this article, complexities related to the multicriteria (multiobjective) optimization of laminated composite structures subjected to technological constraints will be presented. So, various technological constraints will be presented and a strategy of

Multicriteria global optimization for biocircuit design [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Systems Biology, 2014
One of the challenges in Synthetic Biology is to design circuits with increasing levels of complexity. While circuits in Biology are complex and subject to natural tradeoffs, most synthetic circuits are simple in terms of the number of regulatory regions, and have been designed to meet a single design criterion.

Primitive Zonotopes

open access: yes, 2017
We introduce and study a family of polytopes which can be seen as a generalization of the permutahedron of type $B_d$. We highlight connections with the largest possible diameter of the convex hull of a set of points in dimension $d$ whose coordinates ...

The Characteristics of Metaheuristic Method in Selection of Path Pairs on Multicriteria Ad Hoc Networks

open access: yesJournal of Computer Networks and Communications, 2019
This research analyzes the metaheuristic methods, that is, ant colony optimization (ACO), genetic algorithm (GA), and particle swarm optimization (PSO), in the selection of path pairs on multicriteria ad hoc network.

Monomial tropical cones for multicriteria optimization [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2019
We present an algorithm to compute all $n$ nondominated points of a multicriteria discrete optimization problem with $d$ objectives using at most $\mathcal{O}(n^{\lfloor d/2 \rfloor})$ scalarizations. The method is similar to algorithms by Przybylski et al. (2010) and by Klamroth et al. (2015) with the same complexity.

APPLICATION OF VIKOR METHOD IN INITIATING LAND CONSOLIDATION PROJECTS [PDF]

open access: yesGeodetski Glasnik, 2020
The choice of a cadastral municipality for agricultural land management by land consolidation is a difficult task. It is very important that giving priority to certain cadastral municipalities for arranging agricultural land by land consolidation is done

Metro map layout using multicriteria optimization [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings. Eighth International Conference on Information Visualisation, 2004. IV 2004., 2004
We describe a system to automatically generate metro maps using a multicriteria approach. We have implemented a hill climbing optimizer which uses a fitness score generated from a sum of several aesthetic metrics. This is used to move from the initial geographic layout of the map to a schematic layout that is intended to aid travellers navigation.
