The multifocal electroretinogram in central serous chorioretinopathy
Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, 2002Purpose: To compare multifocal electroretinograms (ERGs) in control subjects and patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC). Method: Eighteen eyes of control subjects and 15 eyes affected by CSC were tested with a VERIS ...

Multifocal Visual Evoked Potentials and Multifocal Electroretinograms in Papillorenal Syndrome
Archives of Ophthalmology, 2002A17-YEAR-OLD patient who had received a renal transplant was evaluated for possible glaucoma. Visual acuity was 20/20 at distance with 6/6 AO/HRR color plates correctly identified in each eye. The Humphrey 24-2 visual fields displayed binasal field loss (Figure 1). There was no relative afferent pupillary defect.

The clinical standards for multifocal electroretinograms (mfERG) call for adaption to normal room lighting before the mfERG begins. They specify that any assessments where bright lights are used, should be done after the mfERG to prevent excess stimulation of retinal cells. However, full-field electroretinograms (FFERG) are performed prior to mfERGs in

Artifact Removal Procedure Distorts Multifocal Electroretinogram
Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology, 2000To study whether the Artifact Removal procedure available for eliminating artifacts in multifocal electroretinograms (mERG) works correctly or not.A test response was made using a photo-diode circuit. mERGs were recorded from 3 well-trained normal subjects using the Veris III system, and were then analyzed by the procedure that is included in the Veris

[Investigation of multifocal electroretinogram in amblyopia].
[Zhonghua yan ke za zhi] Chinese journal of ophthalmology, 2007To investigate the changes of the multifocal electroretinogram (mfERG) in amblyopic eyes. Methods The mfERG of 28 anisometropic amblyopic cases (28 eyes), 25 strabismic amblyopic cases (25 eyes), 14 isometropic amblyopic cases (28 eyes) and 54 normal control eyes were tested. The N1 wave and P1 wave amplitude densities of mfERG first order kernel and ...
