Using Principal Components Analysis to Visualize Motion and Mitigate Artifacts in Dynamic Optical Coherence Tomography

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, Volume 19, Issue 6, June 2026.
We demonstrate that Principal Component Analysis (PCA) can be used in dynamic OCT to substantially reduce artifacts from strong specular reflections, isolate movement within the sample, and create thin, histology‐like images, thereby avoiding the need for complex, time‐consuming techniques used in clinical histopathology.

Leaf photoprotection and water relations traits reveal novel axes of coordination and trade‐offs in leaf function

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, Volume 40, Issue 6, Page 1676-1697, June 2026.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Plants can express considerable plasticity in leaf functional traits, but that plasticity may be constrained by coordination and trade‐offs among multiple functions.

Almost semicontinuous multifunctions via ideals

open access: yes, 2018
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study upper and lower almost semi-I-continuous multifunctions as a generalization of upper and lower semi-I-continuous multifunctions, respectively.

Some General Theorems for Compact Acyclic Multifunctions

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
We present general Leray-Schauder type theorems for compact acyclic Multifunctions, using the topological transversality theorem by the author.

Regularity, Normality and Multifunctions [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1978
In this note we give several characterizations of regularity and normality in terms of weakly upper-semicontinuous multifunctions.

Convergence theorems for Banach space valued integrable multifunctions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1987
In this work we generalize a result of Kato on the pointwise behavior of a weakly convergent sequence in the Lebesgue-Bochner spaces LXP(Ω) (1≤p≤∞). Then we use that result to prove Fatou's type lemmata and dominated convergence theorems for the Aumann ...

Multifunctions and cluster sets

open access: yes, 1979
In this article the notion of cluster set-which has been extensively studied within the framework of real and analytic function theory and to some extent for arbitrary functions between arbitrary topological spaces-is investigated for multifunctions.

GENERALIZED CONTINUITY FOR MULTIFUNCTIONS

open access: yes, 2009
The aim of this paper is to introduce two kinds of generalized continuity for multifunctions. Basic properties and characterizations of such multifunctions are established.
