Universal Spoofing of Real-World Aircraft Multilateration
peer reviewedAs spoofing attacks on GNSS-based aircraft navigation systems become more common in commercial aviation, independent local-ization methods such as ground-based distributed multilateration are increasingly being adopted for enhanced safety ...

Improvement of Ultrasound-Based Localization System Using Sine Wave Detector and CAN Network
This paper presents an improved indoor localization system based on radio frequency (RF) and ultrasonic signals, which we named the SNSH system. This system is composed of a transmitter mounted in a mobile target and a series of receiver nodes that are ...

A noninvasive bioacoustics approach was used to study corncrake movements in a fragmented Irish agricultural landscape. We found that males moved an average of 415 m within a season and 375 m between years. Landscape features such as connectivity and suitable habitat area influenced their movements.

Design of a Real-Time Indoor Positioning System Based on Visible Light Communication [PDF]
In this paper a real-time Indoor Positioning System (IPS) based on Visible Light Communication (VLC) is proposed, deployed and studied. It is composed of nine LED-based VLC transmitters instaled in the ceilling of an indoor invironment, each of them ...

Specification of Sensing Coverage Zones in Two‐Dimensional Acoustic Target Localization
Target localization (positioning) by the time difference of arrival (TDoA) using previously localized wireless sensor nodes has wide applications. Three‐degree sensing coverage cannot calculate accurate spatial‐temporal information of the target object in two‐dimensional acoustic positioning.

A Review of Linear Multilateration Techniques and Applications
In multilateration, distances between an unknown location and several known points are used to determine the location of the unknown point. Papers on algorithms for multilateration, such as time of arrival (TOA), time difference of arrival (TDOA), and ...
