Flexible Pressure Sensor With Co‐Optimized Sensitivity and Linearity Based on Gradient Toroidal Microstructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor with gradient toroidal CNT/PDMS microstructures is reported. The hierarchical geometry enables sequential electrode contact, achieving a sensitivity of 256.20 kPa−1 and linear response (R2 = 0.99) over 0–1000 kPa.

Polypeptide Multilayer Films

Biomacromolecules, 2005
Research on polypeptide multilayer films, coatings, and microcapsules is located at the intersection of several disciplines: synthetic polymer chemistry and physics, biomaterials science, and nanoscale engineering. The past few years have witnessed considerable growth in each of these areas.

Conductivity of metallic films and multilayers

Physical Review B, 1995
We examine the quantum and semiclassical approaches to the calculation of the electrical conductivity using a model of free electrons with a finite lifetime. We evaluate the Kubo formula exactly for the free-electron model for homogeneous conductors, thin films, and multilayers. We use these results to explicitly demonstrate the relationships among the
