Skin‐Like Tri‐Modal Sensors Based on Soft Piezoelectric and Ionic Composites
Inspired by the multimodal perception of human skin, a soft, skin‐like tri‐modal sensor is presented. The device incorporates an ionically conductive, piezoelectric, elastic composite as its active layer, enabling independent detection of temperature, static strain, and dynamic strain within a single two‐terminal architecture.

Multilayer Flexible Metamaterials With Fano Resonances
A set of multilayer flexible metamaterials (MMs), which consist of three layers of parylene C films and three layers of gold split ring resonators (SRRs), was designed and fabricated. The transmission spectra of these MMs were measured in the terahertz (THz) region.

Thickness‐Dependent Infrared Emissivity of Ultrathin Freestanding MoSiN Nanocomposite Membranes
ABSTRACT Metals and dielectrics show opposite trends in thickness‐dependent infrared emissivity: metallic films exhibit a rise in emissivity below a critical thickness, while dielectric films show a corresponding decline. For applications demanding both high emissivity and mechanical strength in membranes with nanoscale thickness, combining these ...

Spacer‐Less Substrate‐Integrated Metasurface for Near‐Unity Terahertz Absorption
ABSTRACT Although conventional metal‐insulator‐metal (MIM) terahertz (THz) absorbers can provide near‐unity absorption, their multilayer stacks inevitably introduce additional thickness, mass, and residual stress, which limit their compatibility with THz thermal sensing platforms.

Multilayer interdigital-hairpin bandpass filter / Nurul Aishah Bachok [PDF]
This paper presents multilayer interdigital-hairpin bandpass filter with six pole of resonator. The multilayer six pole interdigital-hairpin resonators centred at 2.58 GHz was designed using FR-4 substrate (er = 4.6, tan 5 = 0.025).The return loss, Sn ...

Bloch surface wave ring resonator based on porous silicon
In this work, we experimentally demonstrate confined modes in a Bloch surface wave (BSW) ring resonator. We fabricate and characterize a ring resonator with a radius R = 105 μm on a truncated periodic porous silicon multilayer.

Data‐Efficient Electromagnetic Surrogate Solver Through Dissipative Relaxation Transfer Learning
Dissipative relaxation transfer learning (DIRTL) enables data‐efficient training of electromagnetic surrogate solvers by pretraining data generated with artificial material loss before fine‐tuning on target lossless data. The framework suppresses resonant outlier effects during early training, allowing effective adaptation to high‐amplitude resonances ...

Modeling of gapped power bus structures for isolation using cavity modes
Power bus resonance characteristics of a gapped power-plane with a slit and a split power-plane with a gap were studied, using a fast algorithm based on a full cavity-mode resonator model and the segmentation method.
