Compact quasi-ridged resonator for 28 GHz integrated on LCP substrate

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper an approach to design a compact substrate integrated resonator is presented. Multilayer LCP substrate integrated waveguide is loaded with a quasi-ridged structure. Component is designed with a resonant frequency of 28 GHz.

Micro-Resonator Based Bivariate Detection of Glucose Concentration With Phenylboronic Acid Functionalized Reduced Graphene Oxide

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
We developed a biosensor based on radio frequency micro-resonator for sensitive detection of aqueous glucose solutions. The device incorporates a modified interdigital capacitor-based multilayer resonator realized using integrated passive device ...

Design of a Multilayer Dual-Band Balanced Bandpass Filter on a Circular Patch Resonator

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2021
This letter presents a novel multilayer dual-band balanced bandpass filter (BPF) design by using two perturbed circular patch resonators. The TM11 mode and TM21 mode of the resonator with odd-symmetric field distributions are explored to realize the ...

Dielectric resonator bandstop filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Dielectric resonators have been widely employed in wireless and satellite communication systems due to their inherently large Q allowing them to fashion low loss and narrow bandwidth filters.

Negative nonlinear damping of a multilayer graphene mechanical resonator

open access: yes, 2016
We experimentally investigate the nonlinear response of a multilayer graphene resonator using a superconducting microwave cavity to detect its motion. The radiation pressure force is used to drive the mechanical resonator in an optomechanically induced ...

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Gate-tunable metafilm absorber based on indium silicon oxide

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2019
In this work, reconfigurable metafilm absorbers based on indium silicon oxide (ISO) were investigated. The metafilm absorbers consist of nanoscale metallic resonator arrays on metal-insulator-metal (MIM) multilayer structures.

A Novel Wide, Dual-and Triple-Band Frequency Reconfigurable Butler Matrix Based on Transmission Line Resonators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, a novel reconfigurable Butler matrix based on transmission line resonators is presented and implemented. This matrix is built from embedding a reconfigurable multilayer directional coupler with an open stub resonator and p-i-n diodes to ...

Electromagnetic Wave Tunneling from Metamaterial Antiparallel Dipole Resonance

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, 2021
Metamaterial resonances have demonstrated outstanding abilities to control electromagnetic waves, which brings promises to directly use them to create unique channels for electromagnetic wave tunneling through barriers.

Optical resonances in multilayer structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Theoretical research in optics may be divided in two distinctive but well connected general directions. The first deals with developing new or improving existing mathematical models to describe relevant physics. The second aims to predict new phenomena or applications using established models and techniques.
