Intelligent Fault Localization of Switches in Multilevel Inverter
Multilevel inverters (MLIs) based on IGBT switches have gained prominence in AC power applications due to their capability to reduce harmonic distortion while offering cost‐effective operation. They are widely adopted in power electronic systems; however, under high‐stress conditions, power switches are prone to faults that can impair system ...

This paper introduces a novel center‐sourced interleaved multilevel boost converter with H‐bridge inverter (CSIMBCI) that is specifically designed for high‐power photovoltaic (PV) applications. Multiple interleaved boost converter stages are arranged in parallel and centrally energized by a PV array in the proposed topology. These stages interface with

ANN‐Based Alternative Controllers for Three‐Phase Four‐Wire Grid‐Connected NPC Inverters
In this paper, a SRRF‐based PI controller and two different ANN controllers (ANN1 and ANN3) are proposed for the control of a 3P3L3L4W grid‐connected NPC inverter. The performances of the controllers under 7 different test conditions are presented comparatively.

ABSTRACT Investigation of power converters for use in industrial drive applications finds that these converters are used low reliable components. To overcome this issue, in this paper, advanced power converters (multi‐pulse AC–DC and multilevel DC–AC converter) are developed and implemented to feed vector‐controlled induction motor drive (VCIMD), which

A five‐level nested neutral point‐clamped inverter topology
A five‐level nested neutral point‐clamped inverter with reduced blocking‐voltage rating is presented. In each of the inverter‐leg, only one, out the eight power switches, has voltage stress of half of the input voltage. The rest of the switches have voltage stress of one‐quarter of the input voltage.
