Hierarchical models of very large problems, dilemmas, prospects, and an agenda for the future [PDF]

open access: yes
Interdisciplinary approaches to the modeling of global problems are discussed in terms of multilevel cooperation. A multilevel regionalized model of the Lake Erie Basin is analyzed along with a multilevel regionalized world modeling project. Other topics

Multilevel Optical Programming of Intrinsic Vacancies in Solution‐Processed MoS2 Films for Retinomorphic Color Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed MoS2 films with intrinsic sulfur‐vacancy traps are used to integrate light sensing and memory in a simple two‐terminal pixel. Successive optical pulses program persistent, multilevel conductance states, while oxygen exposure enables rapid erasure.

Multilevel selection models using gllamm [PDF]

open access: yes
Models for handling sample selection or informative missingness have been developed for both cross sectional and longitudinal or panel data. For cross sectional data, Heckman (1979) suggested a joint model for the response and sample selection processes ...

Promoting Treg Polarization‐Mediated Anti‐Scar and Appendage Regeneration in Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a PLGA@LA‐BMP4‐PG bilayer scaffold to address scar formation and appendage loss in skin repair. The piezoelectric PLA layer enhances cell migration via electric fields, while GelMA delivers LA promoting Tregs polarization and BMP4 inhibiting FBs differentiation.
