Unconditionality in tensor products and ideals of polynomials, multilinear forms and operators [PDF]
We study tensor norms that destroy unconditionality in the following sense: for every Banach space $E$ with unconditional basis, the $n$-fold tensor product of $E$ (with the corresponding tensor norm) does not have unconditional basis.

Optimal Hardy-Littlewood type inequalities for polynomials and multilinear operators [PDF]
In this paper we obtain quite general and definitive forms for Hardy-Littlewood type inequalities. Moreover, when restricted to the original particular cases, our approach provides much simpler and straightforward proofs and we are able to show that in most cases the exponents involved are optimal.

Bohnenblust-Hille inequalities: analytical and computational aspects
The Bohnenblust-Hille polynomial and multilinear inequalities were proved in 1931 and the determination of exact values of their constants is still an open and challenging problem, pursued by various authors.

Splitting of operations for alternative and Malcev structures [PDF]
In this paper we define pre-Malcev algebras and alternative quadri-algebras and prove that they generalize pre-Lie algebras and quadri-algebras respectively to the alternative setting.

An invariant subspace problem for multilinear operators on Banach spaces and algebras
This paper is concerned with the study of invariant subspace problems for nonlinear operators on Banach spaces/algebras. Our study reveals that one faces unprecedented challenges such as lack of vector space structure and unbounded spectral sets when ...

A Lindenstrauss theorem for some classes of multilinear mappings [PDF]
Under some natural hypotheses, we show that if a multilinear mapping belongs to some Banach multlinear ideal, then it can be approximated by multilinear mappings belonging to the same ideal whose Arens extensions simultaneously attain their norms.

Interpolating Binary and Multivalued Logical Quantum Gates
A method for synthesizing quantum gates is presented based on interpolation methods applied to operators in Hilbert space. Starting from the diagonal forms of specific generating seed operators with non-degenerate eigenvalue spectrum one obtains for ...

Quantum Query Complexity of Multilinear Identity Testing [PDF]
Motivated by the quantum algorithm in \cite{MN05} for testing commutativity of black-box groups, we study the following problem: Given a black-box finite ring $R=\angle{r_1,...,r_k}$ where $\{r_1,r_2,...,r_k\}$ is an additive generating set for $R$ and a
