Splitting the difference: Computations of the Reynolds operator in classical invariant theory
Abstract If G$G$ is a linearly reductive group acting rationally on a polynomial ring S$S$, then the inclusion SG↪S$S^{G} \hookrightarrow S$ possesses a unique G$G$‐equivariant splitting, called the Reynolds operator. We describe algorithms for computing the Reynolds operator for the classical actions as in Weyl's book.

Quasi‐invariance of Gaussian measures for the 3d$3d$ energy critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation
Abstract We consider the 3d$3d$ energy critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation with data distributed according to the Gaussian measure with covariance operator (1−Δ)−s$(1-\Delta)^{-s}$, where Δ$\Delta$ is the Laplace operator and s$s$ is sufficiently large. We prove that the flow sends full measure sets to full measure sets. We also discuss some simple

W‐algebras, Gaussian free fields, and g$\mathfrak {g}$‐Dotsenko–Fateev integrals
Abstract Based on the intrinsic connection between Gaussian free fields and the Heisenberg vertex algebra, we study some aspects of the correspondence between probability theory and W$W$‐algebras. This is first achieved by providing a construction of the W$W$‐algebra associated to a complex simple Lie algebra g$\mathfrak {g}$ by means of Gaussian free ...

Soft Robots Proprioception Through Stretchable Laser‐Induced Graphene Strain Sensors
This study demonstrates the potential of laser‐induced graphene and silicone sensors for soft pneumatic grippers’ proprioception. The sensors are thin, stretchable, mechanically transparent, and easy to integrate. Finite‐element method analysis identifies the finger's neutral bending plane and four sensor positions are tested to validate the ...

Abstract We analyse and clarify the finite‐size scaling of the weakly‐coupled hierarchical n$n$‐component |φ|4$|\varphi |^4$ model for all integers n≥1$n \ge 1$ in all dimensions d≥4$d\ge 4$, for both free and periodic boundary conditions. For d>4$d>4$, we prove that for a volume of size Rd$R^{d}$ with periodic boundary conditions the infinite‐volume ...

Procedural Multiscale Geometry Modeling using Implicit Surfaces
Abstract Materials exhibit geometric structures across mesoscopic to microscopic scales, influencing macroscale properties such as appearance, mechanical strength, and thermal behavior. Capturing and modeling these multiscale structures is challenging but essential for computer graphics, engineering, and materials science.

Holomorphic field theories and higher algebra
Abstract Aimed at complex geometers and representation theorists, this survey explores higher dimensional analogs of the rich interplay between Riemann surfaces, Virasoro and Kac‐Moody Lie algebras, and conformal blocks. We introduce a panoply of examples from physics — field theories that are holomorphic in nature, such as holomorphic Chern‐Simons ...

Abstract We prove the direct and the converse inequalities for type IV superorthogonality in the vector‐valued setting. The converse one is also new in the scalar setting.

Lyophilization is a key process used in the production of biotherapeutic products. This article reviews and discusses the application of HSI on lyophilization, and the strategies that use the resulting data to build models. It is intended to provide guidance and insights for non‐specialist researchers and engineers into leveraging HSI and the data ...

Mean‐field limit of non‐exchangeable systems
Abstract This paper deals with the derivation of the mean‐field limit for multi‐agent systems on a large class of sparse graphs. More specifically, the case of non‐exchangeable multi‐agent systems consisting of non‐identical agents is addressed. The analysis does not only involve PDEs and stochastic analysis but also graph theory through a new concept ...
