The effect of multiparity on intrasellar prolactinomas
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1984A complete reassessment of ovulation, pituitary reserve and function, and sella turcica anatomy was carried out in nine multiparous patients with intrasellar prolactinomas to determine whether long-term bromocriptine therapy was required and to document the natural history of the disease after two or more pregnancies.

On the real arity of multiparent recombination
Proceedings of the 1999 Congress on Evolutionary Computation-CEC99 (Cat. No. 99TH8406), 2003Several papers have reported experimental results for multiparent recombination operators, looking at the effects of using more parents. Tacitly, these studies assume that the number of parents (the arity of the given recombination operator) tells how many old individuals contribute to a new one by passing their genetic information to it.

Grand multiparity: A reappraisal of the risks
International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 1991An excellent maternal and perinatal outcome is reported in a group of grand multipara of low socioeconomic status. These observations on a group of patients who are traditionally considered to be high risk show that in a healthy population with access to modern medical care and hospital delivery, a favorable outcome can be achieved despite a low ...

Uterine activity in the multiparous patient
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1976There were 149 parous patients with normal cervical dilatation patterns studied. The purpose was to quantitate and characterize uterine activity in a group of multiparous patients with normal labor using our present on-line method and to evaluate our method against pervious work done on uterine activity.

Dynamic routing in multiparented networks
IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, 1993The authors investigate some of the consequences for dynamic routing schemes of dual- and multiparented networks, in which a call can enter (or leave) the network at two or more points. In particular, they compare bounds on the performance of optimal dynamic routing strategies which respectively ignore and utilize the multiparented structure, and show ...
