Faraday–Ramsey Rotation in Ultrathin Alkali Vapor Cells as an Analogy to Atomic‐Beam Systems

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 10, 22 May 2026.
This work demonstrates that ultrathin rubidium vapor cells can emulate atomic‐beam behavior through geometry‐dependent velocity filtering. Employing a spatially separated pump–probe scheme and Faraday–Ramsey rotation, the study reveals coherent atomic dynamics without buffer gas or anti‐relaxation coatings. This approach offers a compact pathway toward

Improvement of Tunable Diode Laser Absorption System with a Novel Multipass Cell and Wavelet Transform

open access: yesJournal of Measurement Science and Instrumentation, 2011
Combination of Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy(TDLAS)technique and multipass cell is an attractive approach for ultrahigh sensitive detection of trace gases.Theoretically, based on Beer-Lambert law,the longer optical path length and the larger

Sagnac interferometric multipass loop amplifier

open access: yesOptics Express, 2012
We propose and investigate experimentally an interferometrically stable, polarization-selective pulse multiplexing scheme for direct laser amplification of picosecond pulses. The basic building block of this scheme is a Sagnac loop which allows for a straightforward scaling of the pulse-multiplexing scheme.

NIR/VIS Dual‐Comb Spectroscopy Comparing High and Low Repetition Rate Regimes

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 10, 22 May 2026.
This work compares dual‐comb spectroscopy at lower and higher repetition rates, emphasizing the inherent trade‐off between spectral and temporal resolution. The 80 MHz system provides high‐resolution spectra suitable for analyzing complex molecular structures, whereas the free‐running 1 GHz platform enables fast measurements for real‐time trace gas ...

Biogenesis of Multipass Membrane Proteins

open access: yes
Roughly one-fourth of all genes code for integral membrane proteins. Most membrane proteins pass back and forth across the lipid bilayer multiple times.

High-brightness table-top coherent XUV source at 130eV [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
We present a highly stable, easy-to-use, table-top coherent XUV source delivering a brightness of >1kW/(mm²sr)/1%BW at 130eV (9.5nm). It is based on high-harmonic generation driven by an ultrastable ytterbium-based fiber laser and a multipass-cell-based ...

Extracellular and Membrane Protein: Structure, Biological Functions, Diseases, and an Emerging Modality for Drug Discovery

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
Targeted protein degradation represents a paradigm shift from traditional protein inhibition to complete protein elimination. This is achieved through three main strategies for degrading extracellular and membrane proteins: recruitment of cell‐surface LTRs, engagement of intracellular proteins, and receptor‐independent mechanisms.

Computer-aided Simulation of Rotary Diamond Dressing Based on Kinematic Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2013
Rotary diamond dressers are one of the most widely used dressers for the dressing of vitrified grinding wheels. In this study, we develop a relatively comprehensive dressing mechanism for the rotary diamond dresser that takes into consideration the ...

Accurate iodine quantification and residual error reduction with principal component analysis multimaterial decomposition using spectral CT

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Background Multimaterial decomposition (MMD) in dual‐energy CT enables iodine quantification, critical for diagnostic applications. However, residual errors from noniodine materials in iodine maps limit accuracy, especially in complex thoracic regions and low‐dose settings.
