Auroral Amplitude Scintillations Revealed With High‐Rate Scintillation Indices From a GNSS Array
Abstract As Global Navigation Satellite Signals pass through the ionosphere, particularly at high latitudes, they can refract and diffract, resulting in a phenomenon known as scintillation. Irregularities of all scale sizes can cause scintillation to occur.

Assessing GNSS Reflectometry for High‐Latitude 3D Ionospheric Imaging
Abstract This study investigates whether Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry (GNSS‐R) measurements from low‐Earth‐orbit (LEO) satellites can improve three‐dimensional (3D) ionospheric electron density imaging, with a focus on high‐latitude regions. Conventional ionospheric tomography is limited by sparse ground‐based receiver coverage over

On the K and KG fading channels [PDF]
In this paper, the composite Rayleigh-Gamma and Nakagami-Gamma distributions are considered. Multipath short-term fading and long-term fading (shadowing) affect wireless channels.

An experimental study of exploiting multipath fading for robot communications [PDF]
A simple approach for mobile robots to exploit multipath fading in order to improve received radio signal strength (RSS), is presented. The strategy is to sample the RSS at discrete points, without deviating too far from the desired position. We first solve the problem of how many samples are needed for given communications performance and how they ...

An ENZ metamaterial slab enables near‐field coupling suppression in dual circularly polarized stacked patch antennas while preserving radiation performance. The near‐zero‐index environment attenuates the transmission of parasitic coupling components between adjacent radiators, distinct from conventional current‐cancelation or port‐compensation ...
