Interfacial and Ligand Dual Engineering Toward Energy‐Saving Hydrogen Production Coupled with Sulfion Degradation

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Using a coordinated regulation strategy of interface and ligand, we developed a nickel cobalt sulfide/carboxylate ligand‐modified nickel cobalt hydroxide composite (NiCo‐S/NiCo‐OH‐CL) with abundant heterointerfaces. Owing to the porous network, sulfur‐repellent hydrophilic surface, and dual electronic structure regulation, the coupled electrolysis ...

Multiphasic Health Testing

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1977
MULTIPHASIC health testing was called to the attention of American medicine in 1972 by the Department of Community Health of the American Medical Association. It consists of collecting specimens from humans and reporting test results—an incomplete health service.

Multiphase LC oscillators

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2006
This paper proposes an extensive analysis of multiphase LC oscillators. N oscillators coupled in a ring topology can generate multiphase outputs. For their nature, these oscillators operate off-resonance and consequently their phase noise worsens at increasing coupling strength.

Automated Multiphasic Screening

Pediatrics, 1974
From our experience with automated multiphasic health tests in more that 20,000 children, we have formed the following tentative conclusions. Multiphasic testing, combining a group of tests for administration at a single session, is less costly in time and inconvenience to the patient and provides more useful information to the evaluating and treating ...

Multiphase protein microgels.

Macromolecular bioscience, 2015
Peptides and proteins represent attractive building blocks for the development of new functional materials due to the biocompatibility and biodegradability of many naturally abundant proteins. In nature, sophisticated material functionality is commonly achieved through spatial control of protein localisation and structure on both the nano and micro ...

Multiphase interchange inequalities

Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1991
Phase interchange inequalities have been studied since the early work of Keller [J. Math. Phys. 5, 548 (1964)]. They constrain the effective conductivity of composite materials which are obtained from each other, for fixed configuration, by interchanging the position of the phases. Optimal results in this direction for the case of a two-phase composite

Multiphase Complementary Codes

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1978
A new class of complementary codes, similar to the complementary series of Golay but having multiphase elements, have been found to exist with specific complementary aperiodic complex autocorrelation functions. These new codes, called multiphase complementary codes, form a class of generalized complementary codes, of which the Golay complementary ...

"MULTIPHASIC" SCREENING TESTS

Journal of the American Medical Association, 1951
The extensive employment of mass methods for detection of tuberculosis, syphilis, diabetes and other diseases by official and voluntary health agencies has led quite logically to the idea that it might be advantageous to combine various diagnostic screening tests, instead of organizing separate campaigns, each with a single test.
