A Framework for Sensitivity Analysis in Spatial Multiple Criteria Evaluation
2008The paper presents a framework for sensitivity analysis (SA) in spatial multiple criteria evaluation (S-MCE). The framework focuses on three aspects of S-MCE: spatiality, scope, and cardinality. Spatiality stresses the importance of spatial criteria and spatial weights that should be explicitly considered in GIS-based MCE.

Evaluation and Selection of Alternatives Considering Multiple Criteria
1989In complex decision problems in which a ranking of alternatives, i.e. projects, objects etc., has to be determined, in general several criteria have to be considered simultaneously. Often parts of the description are in addition uncertain. To aid decision makers in such situations numerous mathematical models and methods have been developed, of which ...

DSS evaluation criteria a multiple constituency approach
2016Despite extensive research into the evaluation of the success of decision support systems (DSS), criteria important in measuring success are rarely defined. This may be critical when a number of reference groups, or constituencies, are considered. In multiple-constituency DSS evaluation the understanding of each criteria may be different for each ...

A Methodology for Multiple Criteria Environmental Plan Evaluation
1985In the past decade, multicriteria analysis has become an increasingly important analytical instrument in environmental evaluation problems. It offered many advantages over conventional tools, as it provided a framework for integrating non-monetary and even qualitative effects in plan and project evaluation.
