Research on Multi-Objective Optimization on Explosion-Suppression Structure-Nonmetallic Spherical Spacers

open access: yesFire
Intense burning phenomena (fire disasters) need to be prevented in the combustible gas utilization and transportation processes to ensure industrial safety.

Non-intersecting squared Bessel paths and multiple orthogonal polynomials for modified Bessel weights

open access: yes, 2007
We study a model of $n$ non-intersecting squared Bessel processes in the confluent case: all paths start at time $t = 0$ at the same positive value $x = a$, remain positive, and are conditioned to end at time $t = T$ at $x = 0$.

Dual Functions of Dietary Rubber Seed Oil Supplementation: Enriching N‐3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids and Enhancing Antioxidant Capacity in Pekin Ducks

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Dietary RSO supplementation improved growth performance, simultaneously enriched n‐3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n‐3 PUFA), and enhanced antioxidant capacity in Pekin ducks, which suggested that RSO has the potential to be a novel n‐3 PUFA source and an antioxidant for Pekin ducks to generate animal functional foods.

SOME RECURRENCE RELATIONS OF MULTIPLE ORTHOGONAL POLYNOMIALS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2005
Multiple orthogonal polynomial systems (OPS) are considered. A sequence of polynomial vectors \(\{(A_{(n_1,n_2)}, B_{(n_1,n_2)})\}\) is called a multiple OPS of type I relative to a pair of measures \((d\mu,d\nu)\) if (i) \(\deg A_{(n_1,n_2)}=n_1\) and \(\deg B_{(n_1,n_2)}=n_2\); (ii) \(\int_{\mathbb R}x^k (A_{(n_1,n_2)}\, d\mu+ B_{(n_1,n_2)}\,d\nu)=0\)

Artificial intelligence‐assisted design, synthesis and analysis of smart biomaterials

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Smart biomaterials are rapidly emerging as tools for tissue engineering, and artificial intelligence has played essential roles in biomaterial studies. By bridging the literature gap in AI‐based design, synthesis and analysis of smart biomaterials, the current review shares perspectives on how biomaterial scientists can practically incorporate AI for ...

A [3]Rotaxane Containing {Ti7Ga} Rings Linking CuII: Synthesis, Structure, and Spectroscopic Studies

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Extended hybrid inorganic‐organic [2]‐ and [3]‐rotaxanes are reported based on heterometallic rings with threads that link CuII complexes; the crystal structures are reported, and the solution behavior is investigated by double electron electron resonance spectroscopy methods.

Riemann-Hilbert Problems for Multiple Orthogonal Polynomials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In the early nineties, Fokas, Its and Kitaev observed that there is a natural Riemann-Hilbert problem (for 2 x×2 matrix functions) associated with a system of orthogonal polynomials. This Riemann-Hilbert problem was later used by Deift et al. and Bleher and Its to obtain interesting results on orthogonal polynomials, in particular strong asymptotics ...

Exploring Aromaticity in Expanded Porphyrins: A Multidimensional Approach to Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, EarlyView.
Expanded porphyrins, with their flexible structures and rich redox chemistry, offer a powerful platform to explore how aromaticity shapes molecular properties. This review introduces a multidimensional framework to quantify Hückel and Möbius aromaticity and examines its impact on the spectroscopic behavior across redox‐ and topology‐controlled expanded

A note on certain classes of multivariable q-series transformations

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2010
The present note envisage to derive some new classes of multiple q-series transformations and reduction formulae. Special cases in terms ofthe known and new results are also derived.

Convergence properties of dynamic mode decomposition for analytic interval maps

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
Abstract Extended dynamic mode decomposition (EDMD) is a data‐driven algorithm for approximating spectral data of the Koopman operator associated to a dynamical system, combining a Galerkin method with N$N$ functions and a quadrature method with M$M$ quadrature nodes.
