Uji in Vitro Penghambatan Aktivitas Escherichia coli dengan Tepung Cacing Tanah (Lumbricus rubellus)

open access: yesMedia Peternakan, 2007
This research was conducted to study the inhibition growth of E. coli by using earthworm (Lumbricus rubellus) meal. The earthworm meal was used in various concentrations, i.e. 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 mg of earthworm meal in 100 ml DMSO for 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%

Self-Consistent-Field Method and τ-Functional Method on Group Manifold in Soliton Theory: a Review and New Results

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
The maximally-decoupled method has been considered as a theory to apply an basic idea of an integrability condition to certain multiple parametrized symmetries.

Equivariant toric geometry and Euler–Maclaurin formulae

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
Abstract We first investigate torus‐equivariant motivic characteristic classes of toric varieties, and then apply them via the equivariant Riemann–Roch formalism to prove very general Euler–Maclaurin‐type formulae for full‐dimensional simple lattice polytopes.

Identification of partial differential equation models for a class of multiscale spatio-temporal dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper, the identification of a class of multiscale spatio-temporal dynamical sys-tems, which incorporate multiple spatial scales, from observations is studied.

Numerical and experimental study on P‐wave propagation across a rock joint with different orientations

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
Joint orientation significantly affects P‐wave velocity, with the highest velocity at zero‐degree angles, decreasing to 30° as the angle increases. The velocity increases slightly from 30 to 45 degrees but sharply decreases from 45 to 90 degrees. Abstract Determination of the required parameters in different science contexts using the ultrasonic wave ...

Multi‐Objective Optimization of Phase Change Coupled Thermal Management System Based on NSWOA

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
NSWOA‐optimized liquid‐PCM hybrid cooling reduces 18 650 pack Tmax by 5.9 K and ΔT to 4.7 K at 4 °C discharge, validated within 1.5 K error; non‐uniform cell placement and key PCM properties are balanced for safety. This study investigates phase change materials (PCMs) for lithium battery thermal management.

Non‐Invasive Detection of Foreign Matter Embedded Inside Egg Fried Rice Using Hyperspectral Transmittance Imaging

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
HSTI is a powerful tool for detecting FM within EFR. The study compares spectral ranges, light intensity, and classification models, showing that FM is most effectively identified with 110 W light intensity in the VNIR system using MLP. Pseudo‐color maps enable precise localization and contouring of FM in EFR.

Land Use Policy and Racial Segregation

open access: yesInternational Studies of Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Land use policies, though seemingly race‐neutral, can inadvertently contribute to racial segregation. Our study focuses on examining the impact of minimum lot size regulations on the likelihood of ethnic minorities integrating into a community, which reveals compelling evidence suggesting that black households exhibit a preference for smaller ...

Murine Supraspinatus Tendons Demonstrate Aging‐Related Changes in Multiscale Mechanics, Structure, and Gene Expression

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rotator cuff disorders are common in the aging population, often leading to pain, disability, and reduced quality of life. Age‐associated changes can occur disproportionately in regions of high mechanical stress, such as the insertion site of the supraspinatus tendon, leading to increased injury rates and tendinopathies.
