Vector Field‐Based Collision‐Free Navigation in Tunnel‐Like Environments
ABSTRACT Tunnel‐like environments, renowned for their vast scale, confined spaces, and limited visibility, present significant challenges for autonomous robot navigation. This study addresses the critical issue of guiding robots through such environments while ensuring collision‐free navigation and maintaining a specified safety margin from both tunnel

Location‐Assisted Graph‐Based User Scheduling in Multi‐User MIMO LEO NTN Systems
ABSTRACT This paper addresses user clustering and scheduling for multi‐user MIMO low Earth orbit nonterrestrial network systems in full frequency reuse. Since the number of on‐ground user terminals is usually much higher than the number of on‐board LEO satellite antennas, user scheduling becomes a fundamental task.

3D Customized Silica‐Based AFM Probes Fabricated by Selective Laser Etching
Selective laser etching (SLE) enables the monolithic fabrication of customized, fully 3D silica AFM probes integrating both cantilever and tip with controlled 3D geometries. The process allows the production of either sharp or spherical tips with high design flexibility, reproducibility, and yield.

Bone's complex hierarchical structure contains many internal interfaces, including the cement line (CL) around osteons. This article shows that the CL is stiffer and harder than surrounding bone but has different mineral–mechanics relationships. These findings challenge the view of the CL as a soft, protective interface and provide insights for ...

Distributed Formation Control for Heterogeneous Robot Systems Based on Competitive Mechanism
ABSTRACT This paper presents an adaptive formation control method for a heterogeneous robot swarm, utilising a multilevel formation task tree to model various types of formation tasks and a single‐state distributed k‐winner‐take‐all (S‐DKWTA) algorithm to address the MRTA problem.

Multi‐Objective Optimisation Framework for Heterogeneous Federated Learning
ABSTRACT Federated learning is a distributed framework that trains a centralised model using data from multiple clients without transferring that data to a central server. Despite rapid progress, federated learning still faces several unsolved challenges. Specifically, communication costs and system heterogeneity, such as nonidentical data distribution,

Multiple orthogonal polynomial ensembles
Multiple orthogonal polynomial (MOP) ensembles form a generalization of the orthogonalpolynomial (OP) ensembles appearing in random matrix theory. Of maininterest is the asymptotic behavior of MOP ensembles, i.e., the behavior as the numberof particles tends to infinity. We consider the subclass of Angelesco ensembles.

ABSTRACT The proliferation of ultra‐high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission technology has heightened regulatory oversight of electromagnetic fields around buildings. In conventional direct current (DC) line design, the presence of residential areas was typically not taken into account.

Integral and Hypergeometric Representations for Multiple Orthogonal Polynomials
Abstract This paper addresses two primary objectives in the realm of classical multiple orthogonal polynomials with an arbitrary number of weights. Firstly, it establishes new and explicit hypergeometric expressions for type I Hahn multiple orthogonal polynomials. Secondly, applying the residue theorem and the Mellin transform, the paper
