Computation of conformal representations of compact Riemann surfaces [PDF]
We find a system of two polynomial equations in two unknowns, whose solution allows to give an explicit expression of the conformal representation of a simply connected three sheeted compact Riemann surface onto the extended complex plane.

Multiple orthogonal polynomials for classical weights [PDF]
A new set of special functions, which has a wide range of applications from number theory to integrability of nonlinear dynamical systems, is described. The multiple orthogonal polynomials with respect to \(p>1\) weights satisfying Pearson's equation. In particular, a classification of multiple orthogonal polynomials with respect to classical weights ...

This study explores how information processing is distributed between brains and bodies through a codesign approach. Using the “backpropagation through soft body” framework, brain–body coupling agents are developed and analyzed across several tasks in which output is generated through the agents’ physical dynamics.

Computation of the Likelihood of Joint Site Frequency Spectra Using Orthogonal Polynomials
In population genetics, information about evolutionary forces, e.g., mutation, selection and genetic drift, is often inferred from DNA sequence information.

On Certain Wronskians of Multiple Orthogonal Polynomials
We consider determinants of Wronskian type whose entries are multiple orthogonal polynomials associated with a path connecting two multi-indices. By assuming that the weight functions form an algebraic Chebyshev (AT) system, we show that the polynomials represented by the Wronskians keep a constant sign in some cases, while in some other cases ...

Encoding Cumulation to Learn Perturbative Nonlinear Oscillatory Dynamics
Weak nonlinearities critically shape the long term behavior of oscillatory systems but are difficult to identify from data. A data‐driven framework is introduced to infer governing equations of weakly nonlinear oscillators from sparse and noisy observations.

Multiplicity Free Induced Representations and Orthogonal Polynomials [PDF]
Let $(G,H)$ be a reductive spherical pair and $P\subset H$ a parabolic subgroup such that $(G,P)$ is spherical. The triples $(G,H,P)$ with this property are called multiplicity free systems and they are classified in this paper. Denote by $ ^{H}_ =\mathrm{ind}_{P}^{H} $ the Borel-Weil realization of the irreducible $H$-representation of highest ...

Laterally spreading tumors (LSTs) are precancerous colorectal lesions characterized by a flat morphology. This study reveals a mechanochemical pathway through which a soft matrix microenvironment diminishes spatial constraints in intestinal adenomas. This process promotes deficiencies in tight junction proteins, mediated by the mechanoreceptor ADORA2B ...
