On Isolating Roots in a Multiple Field Extension
We address univariate root isolation when the polynomial's coefficients are in a multiple field extension. We consider a polynomial $F \in L[Y]$, where $L$ is a multiple algebraic extension of $\mathbb{Q}$. We provide aggregate bounds for $F$ and algorithmic and bit-complexity results for the problem of isolating its roots.

An Optimal Iterative Technique for Multiple Root Finder of Nonlinear Problems
In this paper, an optimal higher-order iterative technique to approximate the multiple roots of a nonlinear equation has been presented. The proposed technique has special properties: a two-point method that does not involve any derivatives, has an ...

Sugarcane mosaic virus infection of model plants Brachypodium distachyon and Nicotiana benthamiana
Sugarcane mosaic virus (SCMV; genus Potyvirus, family Potyviridae) is a causal pathogen of sugarcane mosaic disease, and it is widespread in regions where sugarcane (Saccharum spp. hybrids) is grown. It is difficult to investigate the molecular mechanism

Multiple roots of diagonal multiples of a square matrix
We find conditions on an n-square matrix A, over a field F of characteristic +2, that are equivalent 10 the following property: for any n-diagonal Dover F, the matrix DA has a multiple eigenvalue (or a multiple permanental root). Further results of a combinatorial flavour are given in the same direction.

Multiple idiopathic apical root resorption [PDF]
Idiopathic external root resorption is a rarely reported condition which has been observed in single or multiple teeth. This is a rare case of multiple idiopathic apical root resorption (MIARR) in a 16-year-old boy. External root resorption of the permanent teeth is a multifactorial process. Well-recognised causes of apical root resorption in permanent

A Comparative Analysis of Quantitative Metrics of Root Architecture
High throughput phenotyping is important to bridge the gap between genotype and phenotype. The methods used to describe the phenotype therefore should be robust to measurement errors, relatively stable over time, and most importantly, provide a reliable ...

Automated Tracking of Root for Confocal Time-lapse Imaging of Cellular Processes
Here we describe a protocol that enables to automatically perform time-lapse imaging of growing root tips for several hours. Plants roots expressing fluorescent proteins or stained with dyes are imaged while they grow using automatic movement of the ...
