SPECIAL VALUES OF MULTIPLE SINE FUNCTIONS
We investigate values of the multiple sine function of period (1,...,1) at rational numbers. We show explicit formulas using special values of Dirichlet L-functions. We also study the case of the multiple gamma function.

Period Analysis using the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (Lasso)
We introduced least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (lasso) in obtaining periodic signals in unevenly spaced time-series data. A very simple formulation with a combination of a large set of sine and cosine functions has been shown to yield a ...

Deep reinforcement learning-based multi-lane mixed traffic ramp merging strategy.
Due to concentrated conflicts, on-ramp merging is an important scenario in the study of new hybrid traffic control. Current research mainly focuses on optimizing the vehicle passage sequence of ramp vehicles merging with mainline vehicles in single-lane ...

Considerations in the placement of phase calibration tones [PDF]
In the use of tones to calibrate unwanted instrumental phases for very long baseline interferometry experiments, certain problems exist which are related to the placement of these phase calibrator tones.

Apparatus for using a time interval counter to measure frequency stability [PDF]
An apparatus for measuring the relative stability of two signals is disclosed comprising a means for mixing the two signals down to a beat note sine wave and for producing a beat note square wave whose upcrossings are the same as the sine wave.

Small interval interpolation fitting bootstrapping method based on residue number system
Aiming at the problem that the bootstrapping time of approximate homomorphic encryption scheme is too long, a small interval interpolation fitting method based on residue system is proposed.

Extremal values of multiple gamma and sine functions
Barnes's multiple gamma function \(\Gamma_{r}(x)\) is defined by \[ \Gamma_{r}(x)=\exp\Big(\frac{\partial}{\partial s}\zeta_{r}(s,\,x)\Big|_{s=0}\Big) \;\;\;(x>0) \] where \(\zeta_{r}(s,\,x)\) is the multiple Hurwitz zeta function defined as \[ \zeta_{r}(s,\,x)=\sum_{n_{1},\dots,n_{r}=0}^{\infty}\frac{1}{(n_{1}+\dots + n_{r}+x)^{s}}\;\;\;\;(\text{Re ...

Salient Features of Dressed Elliptic String Solutions on $\mathbb{R}\times$S$^2$
We analyse several physical aspects of the dressed elliptic strings propagating on $\mathbb{R} \times \mathrm{S}^2$ and of their counterparts in the Pohlmeyer reduced theory, i.e. the sine-Gordon equation. The solutions are divided into two wide classes;

Log-sine evaluations of Mahler measures, II
We continue the analysis of higher and multiple Mahler measures using log-sine integrals as started in "Log-sine evaluations of Mahler measures" and "Special values of generalized log-sine integrals" by two of the authors. This motivates a detailed study
