Rapid Micro-Motion Feature Extraction of Multiple Space Targets Based on Improved IRT

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Micro-motion feature extraction is of great significance for target recognition. However, traditional methods mostly focus on single target and struggle to correctly separate the severely overlapping micro-motion curves of multiple targets. In this paper,

The Proliferation of Definitions of Terrorism in International Law

open access: yesContemporary Challenges, 2020
This paper analyses the proliferation of definitions of terrorism in international law and across national jurisdictions. On the one hand, this paper argues that terrorism legislation mainly pursues a symbolic function in international and criminal law ...

Integrated Design of Multi-Constrained Snake Maneuver Surge Guidance Control for Hypersonic Vehicles in the Dive Segment

open access: yesAerospace, 2023
Focusing on the large maneuver penetration of the hypersonic glide vehicle with multiple constraints and uncertain disturbance, a robust integrated guidance and control law, which can achieve the snake-shape maneuver, is designed.

Multiple zeta functions: the double sine function and the signed double Poisson summation formula [PDF]

open access: yesCompositio Mathematica, 2004
Summary: We construct multiple zeta functions as absolute tensor products of usual zeta functions. The Euler product expression is established for the most basic case \(\zeta(s,\mathbb F_p)\otimes \zeta(s,\mathbb F_q)\) by using the signed double Poisson summation formula and the theory of the double sine function.

Exploring Physics-Informed Neural Networks for the Generalized Nonlinear Sine-Gordon Equation

open access: yesApplied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing
The nonlinear sine-Gordon equation is a prevalent feature in numerous scientific and engineering problems. In this paper, we propose a machine learning-based approach, physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), to investigate and explore the solution of ...

High-Copy Transposons from a Pathogen Give Rise to a Conserved sRNA Family with a Novel Host Immunity Target

open access: yesMolecular Plant-Microbe Interactions
Small RNAs (sRNAs) are involved in gene silencing in multiple ways, including through cross-kingdom transfers from parasites to their hosts. Little is known about the evolutionary mechanisms enabling eukaryotic microbes to evolve functional mimics of ...

Comparing Deep Recurrent Networks Based on the MAE Random Sampling, a First Approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Recurrent neural networks have demonstrated to be good at tackling prediction problems, however due to their high sensitivity to hyper-parameter configuration, finding an appropriate network is a tough task.

Potential Early Risk Biomarkers for Reduced Forced Expiratory Volume in Children Post‐Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.

Configuration design and performance analysis of a fast frequency modulation optical CDMA communication system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A fast frequency modulation optical code division multiple access (CDMA) communication system is proposed. In this system, an electrically controlled tunable optical filter (TOF) is used to encode the modulated broadband light source. The code depends on

Log-sine evaluations of Mahler measures

open access: yes, 2010
We provide evaluations of several recently studied higher and multiple Mahler measures using log-sine integrals. This is complemented with an analysis of generating functions and identities for log-sine integrals which allows the evaluations to be ...
