Formal group laws for multiple sine functions and applications
We investigate addition relations for multiple sine functions from the view point of formal group laws. We find that the functions which appear in the coefficients are related to classical Eisenstein serires. As application we obtain a limit formula for automorphic forms.

With the aim of identifying a probability model that not only correctly describes the stochastic behavior of extreme environmental factors such as excess rain, acid rain pH level, and concentrations of ozone, but also measures concentrations of NO2 and ...

Radiation and Relaxation of Oscillons
We study oscillons, extremely long-lived localized oscillations of a scalar field, with three different potentials: quartic, sine-Gordon model and in a new class of convex potentials.

Pion Breather States in QCD [PDF]
We describe a class of pionic breather solutions (PBS) which appear in the chiral lagrangian description of low-energy QCD. These configurations are long-lived, with lifetimes greater than $10^3$ fm/c, and could arise as remnants of disoriented chiral ...

Multiple sine functions and Selberg zeta functions
Forming suitable Weierstraß products the author defines a multiple gamma function \(G_ r\) (related to the Barnes multiple gamma function) and a multiple sine function \(F_ r\) of order \(r\geq 2\). The multiple sine functions are related with the polylogarithm function \(Li_ k(x)\) and may be used to express special values of zeta functions such as \(\

ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Enhancing Accuracy and Precision in Omni-Angle Edge-Based Modulation Transfer Function Measurements
The modulation transfer function (MTF) quantitatively describes the ability of an optical or imaging system to reproduce contrast at various spatial frequencies. The ISO 12233 edge-based method adopted diagonal MTF measurement for sampled imaging systems

Hierarchy of the Selberg zeta functions
We introduce a Selberg type zeta function of two variables which interpolates several higher Selberg zeta functions. The analytic continuation, the functional equation and the determinant expression of this function via the Laplacian on a Riemann surface

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.
