Stability analysis for multiple solutions of boundary layer flow towards a shrinking sheet: Analytical solution by using least square method

, 2020
In some cases, most of the boundary value problems contain multiple solutions in which one of the solution is stable or physical reliable and other solutions are unstable.

Analytic solutions for multiple motions

Proceedings 2001 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.01CH37205), 2002
A novel framework for single and multiple motion estimation is presented. It is based on a generalized structure tensor that contains blurred products of directional derivatives. The order of differentiation increases with the number of motions but more general linear filters can be used instead of derivatives.

Watermarking multiple constant multiplications solutions

Conference Record of the Thirty-Eighth Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2004., 2005
Multiplications and multipliers dominate area, power and speed requirements of modern designs. A standard technique to reduce these requirements is to use combinations of shifts and additions to execute multiplications. The approach is particularly effective when multiple constant multiplications are necessary.

Consider Multiple Solutions

IEEE Software, 2008
Design teams rarely consider multiple solution ideas before committing to one. They often forget that an even better idea could be just around the corner, and consider alternative ideas only when they don't like the current one. Using sketchboarding, design studio, or a combination of these two techniques can let teams quickly ideate over many ...

Learning and discovering multiple solutions using physics-informed neural networks with random initialization and deep ensemble

Proceedings of the Royal Society A
We explore the capability of physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) to discover multiple solutions. Many real-world phenomena governed by nonlinear differential equations (DEs), such as fluid flow, exhibit multiple solutions under the same conditions ...

Homotopy analysis method for predicting multiple solutions in the channel flow with stability analysis

Communications in nonlinear science & numerical simulation, 2019
The present theoretical investigation covers a study of finding the multiple solutions of a Jeffery–Hamel flow and heat transfer under the influence of magnetic field. An analytical technique (Homotopy Analysis Method) is applied to solve the cylindrical

On the Hardness of Reoptimization with Multiple Given Solutions

Fundamenta Informaticae, 2011
In reoptimization, we consider the following scenario: Given an instance of a hard optimization problem together with an optimal solution for it, we want to solve a locally modified instance of the problem. It has recently been shown for several hard optimization problems that their corresponding reoptimization variants remain 𝒩𝒫-hard or even hard to ...
