Large‐Scale Coherent Southward Displacement of the Indochina Block: Constraints From New Late Cretaceous Paleomagnetic Studies

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 21, 16 November 2026.
Abstract To better constrain the post‐collisional southward displacement of the Indochina Block (ICB) and the crustal deformation of the southeastern Tibetan Plateau, we present a reliable paleomagnetic study of Upper Cretaceous Nanxin Formation redbeds exposed in the Lanping area, at the northern edge of the Lanping‐Simao Terrane (LST).

Spatiotemporal Evolution of Regional Heavy Rainfall Events in Guangdong, South China: Intensification and Expansion Since the Early 1990s

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, Volume 46, Issue 13, 15 November 2026.
Regional heavy rainfall events (RHREs) in Guangdong, South China, during 1961–2025 are reassessed using an improved strength index that integrates rainfall intensity, spatial extent and duration. Results reveal a post‐1991 shift towards more frequent and spatially extensive strong and extreme events, with June showing the most pronounced ...

Toward Pore‐Engineered 3D‐Printed Materials for Sorption Water Harvesting, Interfacial Evaporation, and Radiative Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 61, 2 November 2026.
Water harvesting, radiative cooling, and interfacial solar evaporation are fundamentally governed by coupled heat, mass, and light transport processes. These processes are mediated by pore architecture, including pore size, connectivity, and hierarchical organization.
