Opposite Trap‐State Evolution Pathways Govern Endurance and Retention Failure in Amorphous Chalcogenide Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GeSbSe selector‐only memory devices are investigated through physical and electrical analyses to reveal opposite trap‐state evolution pathways governing reliability degradation. Endurance cycling drives Se migration, transitioning traps from deep to shallow states.

On Multiple Wh-Questions ―A Top-Down Approach― [PDF]

open access: yes
application/pdf論文(Article)This paper deals with some issues of wh-questions. One of striking properties of the questions is that the so-called superiority effect arises in a multiple question when more than one wh-phrase is involved.

Lactate Signal: Modulator of Cellular Energy Production and Anabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Compartmentalized lactate signaling provides a spatial framework for understanding how lactate‐rich states are generated, transported, sensed, and translated into biological outputs. This Review integrates extracellular, cytosolic, mitochondrial‐associated, and nuclear lactate mechanisms to explain how lactate shapes metabolic adaptation, immune ...

Wh-question intonation in Peninsular Spanish: Multiple contours and the effect of task type

open access: yesJournal of Portuguese Linguistics, 2009
This paper reports on an experimental investigation of wh-question intonation in Peninsular Spanish. Speech data were collected from six León, Spain Peninsular Spanish speakers, and oral production data were elicited under two conditions: a computerized sentence reading task and an information gap task-oriented dialogue.

FAK Mediated Coordination of Extracellular Matrix Remodeling and Cellular Mechanics Impairs Nanomedicine Delivery in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
FAK orchestrates a mechanical barrier limiting nanomedicine accumulation in solid tumors by coupling ECM remodeling with cytoskeletal tension. Genetic or pharmacological FAK inhibition dismantles this barrier, enhances clathrin‐mediated uptake and penetration, and overcomes delivery limitations to improve antitumor efficacy.

Unique Focus Languages without multiple wh-questions

open access: yes
This monograph focuses on an interesting typological property shared by four languages: the ungrammaticality of multiple wh-questions in Irish, Berber, Italian and Somali.

A Living Multi‐Omics PDX Biobank of High‐Risk Sarcomas Reveals ecDNA‐Driven Oncogene Amplification in Osteosarcoma and Enables Preclinical Precision Oncology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A living multi‐omics sarcoma PDX biobank is enriched for high‐risk disease and preserves key patient tumor features at histopathological and molecular levels. Integrated profiling reveals ecDNA‐driven oncogene amplification in osteosarcoma and preferential retention of ecDNA during PDX evolution.

Structural Variants in the Human Genome Associated With Gut Microbiome and Blood Metabolic Traits With Potential Causal Links

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on a multi‐omics cohort of 2002 individuals comprising high‐depth whole‐genome and metagenomic sequencing data, blood metabolites, and detailed questionnaires, we identified 138 859 high‐confidence SVs, uncovering 36 significant SV–microbiome associations and 48 SV–blood metabolite associations.

Improved Deformability of Co‐Free Medium Entropy Oxides by Controlled Entropy Destabilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Controlled entropy destabilization activates defect‐mediated plasticity in Co‐free (CuMgNiZn)O by promoting pre‐existing Cu‐rich secondary phases that serve as defect sources. Temperature‐dependent dislocation activity evolves from limited motion at room temperature to extensive glide and stacking‐fault formation at 600 °C, enabling improved plasticity
