Multiplexed imaging of intracellular protein networks [PDF]
AbstractCellular functions emerge from the collective action of a large number of different proteins. Understanding how these protein networks operate requires monitoring their components in intact cells. Due to intercellular and intracellular molecular variability, it is important to monitor simultaneously multiple components at high spatiotemporal ...

Going viral − Virus‐targeting nanobodies for research, diagnostics and therapy
The increasing prevalence of viral diseases represents a major threat for global human health. Nanobodies, small binding fragments derived from camelid heavy‐chain antibodies, offer versatile tools for viral research, diagnostics, and antiviral therapy.

Multi-modal image analysis for large-scale cancer tissue studies within IMMUcan
Summary: In cancer research, multiplexed imaging allows detailed characterization of the tumor microenvironment (TME) and its link to patient prognosis. The integrated immunoprofiling of large adaptive cancer patient cohorts (IMMUcan) consortium collects

Wavelength-Multiplexed Single-Shot Ptychography [PDF]
We present multi-wavelength single-shot ptychography, a technique which is ideally suited for imaging dynamically evolving plasmas. Through improvements to single-shot ptychography and a novel probe constraint, wavelength-multiplexed single-shot ...

Fluorescence Multiplexing with Spectral Imaging and Combinatorics [PDF]
ABSTRACT Ultraviolet-to-infrared fluorescence is a versatile and accessible assay modality, but is notoriously hard to multiplex due to overlap of wide emission spectra. We present an approach for fluorescence m ultiplexing

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Subcellular localization of biomolecules and drug distribution by high-definition ion beam imaging
Multiplexed ion beam imaging can provide subcellular localisation information but with limited resolution. Here the authors report an ion beam imaging method with nanoscale resolution which they use to assess the subcellular distribution of cisplatin.

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...
