Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

Cluster Synchronization in Multiplex Networks [PDF]
We study the impact of interaction of nodes in a layer of a multiplex network on the dynamical behavior and cluster synchronization of these nodes in other layers. We find that nodes interactions in one layer affects the cluster synchronizability of another layer in many different ways.

Ridged waveguide manifold multiplexers with improved performance [PDF]
This paper demonstrates the bandwidth improvement of a multiplexer overcoming the limitations imposed by the poor stopband performance of standard waveguide E-plane filters.

Germline variants in CDKN2A wild‐type melanoma prone families
Among melanoma‐prone families, wild‐type for CDKN2A and CDK4, some have pathogenic variants in genes not usually linked to melanoma. Furthermore, rare XP‐related variants and variants in MC1R are enriched in such families. Germline pathogenic variants in CDKN2A are well established as an underlying cause of familial malignant melanoma. While pathogenic

Energy-Efficient NoC for Best-Effort Communication [PDF]
A Network-on-Chip (NoC) is an energy-efficient on-chip communication architecture forMulti-Processor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) architectures. In an earlier paper we proposed a energy-efficient reconfigurable circuit-switched NoC to reduce the energy ...

Communicability reveals a transition to coordinated behavior in multiplex networks [PDF]
We analyse the flow of information in multiplex networks by means of the communicability function. First, we generalize this measure from its definition from simple graphs to multiplex networks. Then, we study its relevance for the analysis of real-world systems by studying a social multiplex where information flows using formal/informal channels and ...
