Multiple facets of serotonergic modulation

2021
The serotonergic system of the central nervous system (CNS) has been implicated in a broad range of physiological functions and behaviors, such as cognition, mood, social interaction, sexual behavior, feeding behavior, sleep-wake cycle and thermoregulation.

Index Modulation Multiple Access

2018 IEEE 29th Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC), 2018
In this paper, the use of index modulation (IM) technique for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is presented, called the Index Modulation multiple access (IMMA). From the concept of index modulation, IMMA technique uses the active subcarriers and inactive subcarriers to make index indices.

Flat modules and multiplication modules

Periodica Mathematica Hungarica, 1990
Let \(R\) be a commutative ring with identity and \(M\) a unitary \(R\)-module. Suppose \(M\) is a multiplication module, i.e. every submodule of \(M\) is of the form \(IM\) for some ideal \(I\) of \(R\). Let \(M^*=\hbox{Hom}_ R(M,R)\), and let \(T(M)=\sum_{\varphi\in M^*}\varphi(M)\) be the trace ideal of \(M\).

Multiplication modules and projective modules

Periodica Mathematica Hungarica, 1994
Several equivalent formulations for a module \(M\) over a commutative ring \(R\) to be a multiplication module are established. If \(M\) is finitely generated, it must be projective over \(R/A\) (where \(A\) is the annihilator of \(M\) in \(R\)) with sme additional properties. In particular, the result of \textit{A. G. Naoum} [Period. Math. Hung.

Multiple access modulation techniques

Communications Satellite Systems Conference, 1966
Abstract This paper quantitatively and qualitatively compares the following multiple-access satellite communication techniques: frequency-division multiple access (FDMA), time-division multiple access (TDMA), spread-spectrum multiple access (SSMA), and pulse-address multiple access (PAMA).
