Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

On a Stable Multiplicative Calculus-Based Hybrid Parallel Scheme for Nonlinear Equations
Fractional-order nonlinear equation-solving methods are crucial in engineering, where complex system modeling requires great precision and accuracy. Engineers may design more reliable mechanisms, enhance performance, and develop more accurate predictions

Multiple-Conclusion System as Communication Calculus
AbstractFollowing the so-called inversion principle of Gentzen-Prawitz, we demonstrate that multiple-conclusion system of classical logic can be naturally regarded as a communication calculus. For the motivation, we first introduce a hierarchical structure for representing an abstract structure of classical proofs.

A Topology Optimization Framework for the Inverse Design of Nonlinear Mechanical Metamaterials
This work uses topology optimization to design unit cells for mechanical metamaterials with a prescribed nonlinear stress–strain response. The framework adds contact and postbuckling modeling to synthesize microstructures for three highly nonlinear responses, including pseudoductile behavior, monostable with snap‐through buckling, and bistable ...

On the multiparameterized fractional multiplicative integral inequalities
We introduce a novel multiparameterized fractional multiplicative integral identity and utilize it to derive a range of inequalities for multiplicatively s-convex mappings in connection with different quadrature rules involving one, two, and three points.

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Sum-product phenomena in F_p: a brief introduction
These notes arose from my Cambridge Part III course on Additive Combinatorics, given in Lent Term 2009. The aim was to understand the simplest proof of the Bourgain-Glibichuk-Konyagin bounds for exponential sums over subgroups. As a byproduct one obtains

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...
