Electron–positron cascades in multiple-laser optical traps [PDF]
We present an analytical and numerical study of multiple-laser QED cascades induced with linearly polarised laser pulses. We analyse different polarisation orientations and propose a configuration that maximises the cascade multiplicity and favours the laser absorption.

Oxygen and ROS Delivery for Infected Wound Healing and Future Prospects
Bacterial infection is a major driver of delayed wound healing and postsurgical readmissions; with rising antibiotic resistance, solid peroxide–releasing biomaterials offer sustained delivery of ROS/O2 for antimicrobial control and microenvironmental modulation.

A near‐infrared photosensitizer that facilitates efficient solid‐state photon upconversion by recycling triplets formed within a fullerene‐based donor–acceptor bulk‐heterojunction system is demonstrated. Spectroscopic investigations reveal that the energy of photogenerated charge transfer states of triplet character (3CT) is subsequently transferred to

The Anomalous Scaling Exponents of Turbulence in General Dimension from Random Geometry
We propose an exact analytical formula for the anomalous scaling exponents of inertial range structure functions in incompressible fluid turbulence. The formula is a gravitational Knizhnik-Polyakov-Zamolodchikov (KPZ)-type relation, and is valid in any ...

Hardware acceleration of number theoretic transform for zk‐SNARK
An FPGA‐based hardware accelerator with a multi‐level pipeline is designed to support the large‐bitwidth and large‐scale NTT tasks in zk‐SNARK. It can be flexibly scaled to different scales of FPGAs and has been equipped in the heterogeneous acceleration system with the help of HLS and OpenCL.

Cascading link failures continue to imperil power grids, transport networks, and cyber-physical systems, yet the relationship between a network’s robustness at the moment of attack and its subsequent resiliency remains poorly understood.

We study Mandelbrot's multiplicative cascade measures at the critical temperature. As has been recently shown by Barral, Rhodes and Vargas (arXiv:1203.5445), an appropriately normalized sequence of cascade measures converges weakly in probability to a ...

Multiplicity distributions in QCD cascades
Multiplicity distribution for hadrons and for jets are studied in QCD parton cascades. The colour dipole formalism is used and earlier results in the double log approximation are generalized to include terms which are suppressed by colour factors or factors of ln s.

Soft Robotic Snake with Tunable Undulatory Gait for Efficient Underwater Locomotion
This study designs an underwater soft snake robot using 3D‐printed soft actuators, controlled by specific signals to generate sinusoidal undulation. Results show a positive correlation between speed and swing amplitude, with optimal performance at 2/3π phase offset, PLA tail, 1.2 voltage growth rate, and 6s undulation period achieving a maximum speed ...
