Discrete and Continuous Multiplicative Differential Equations and Applications in Solving Non−Linear Difference and Differential Equations [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
Boundary and initial value problems,  including nonlinear difference equations and nonlinear differential equations, are the mathematical models of many physics and engineering problems and natural phenomena.

Monocyte-derived cytokines in multiple sclerosis

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Immunology, 2003
SUMMARYMS is an inflammatory, presumably autoimmune, disease mediated by the activation of T cells, B cells and monocytes (MO). Inflammation is thought to occur early during the relapsing-remitting phase of MS (RRMS), whereas in the later phases of MS such as secondary progressive MS (SPMS), inflammation tends to diminish.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Exact solutions of the stochastic fractional long–short wave interaction system with multiplicative noise in generalized elastic medium

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
The long–short wave interaction system (L-SWIS) is an important model describing the interaction of two waves propagating in a generalized elastic medium. In this study, the bifurcation and the influence of random interaction on the exact solution of the

Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Curves in Multiplicative Equiaffine Space

open access: yesMathematics
In this study, the geometric properties of curves in multiplicative equiaffine space are investigated using multiplicative calculus. Fundamental geometric concepts such as multiplicative arc length, multiplicative equiaffine curvature, and torsion are ...

Hyperspectral Imaging Combined with Chemometrics Analysis for Monitoring the Textural Properties of Modified Casing Sausages with Differentiated Additions of Orange Extracts

open access: yesFoods, 2023
The textural properties (hardness, springiness, gumminess, and adhesion) of 16-day stored sausages with different additions of orange extracts to the modified casing solution were estimated by response surface methodology (RSM) and a hyperspectral ...

Additive derivative and multiplicative coderivative operators on MV-algebras

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we introduce derivative MV-algebras (or MV-algebras with additive derivative operators). We indicate that the derivative MV-algebras are generalizations of closure MV-algebras.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...
