Metric Methods in Ergodic Theory
This bachelor's thesis discusses from an ergodic-theoretical perspective the "metric functional analysis" that Anders Karlsson and others have developed in the recent years.

Optimization of the Production of Rubber Compounds Using Mathematical Models
Rubber compounds were mixed in a batch internal mixer, and symbolic regression was used to derive mathematical models linking recipe and process parameters to ram path, torque, and mixing quality (incorporation, dispersion, distribution). Subsequent optimization with evolutionary algorithms identified operating conditions that reduce specific energy ...

International audienceWe consider a stochastic process with long-range dependence perturbed by multiplicative noise. The marginal distributions of both the original process and the noise have regularly-varying tails, with tail indices $\alpha,\alpha'>

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Metric Graph Approximations of Geodesic Spaces
We study the question of approximating a compact geodesic metric space by metric graphs satisfying a uniform upper bound on their first Betti number. We prove that, up to a suitable multiplicative constant, Reeb graphs of distance functions to a point ...

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

This work shows that the mechanical performance of multimaterial digital light processing (DLP) printed thermoset composites is governed by resin compatibility and interfacial design rather than spatial patterning alone. Brittle and ductile resin combinations produced premature interfacial failure, while graded interfaces and mechanically compatible ...

Best Proximity Point Theorems on 𝑏 − ¿ Multiplicative Metric Spaces
Objectives: To introduce 𝑏 - multiplicative metric spaces and cyclic multiplicative rational contractions within the framework of best proximity point theorems. Methods: We define 𝑏 - multiplicative metric spaces and prove best proximity point theorems for multiplicative proximal contractions, including the first and second kind, cyclic multiplicative ...

This work studies the anisotropic behavior of circular notched tensile specimens of Ni‐base superalloy single crystals during high‐temperature tensile creep along [001], [110], and [111]. Correlative scale‐bridging imaging of specimens reveals early rupture along [110] because 1) plastic deformation proceeds faster at notch center; 2) more (brittle ...

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.
